The long story: about 4 years ago I suffered trauma and was told to give it time before worrying about it. After about a month or two of curvature it got completely better, no pain or anything for years. About a year and a half ago I got with my current gf and have had pain after sex about 50% of the time we do anything, oral or vaginal. It's not immediate pain or during but it lingers for a while after, sometimes days or weeks. But not during sex. I went to a urologist by me who kept pushing medications that did nothing. I then went to another urologist who mentioned Peyronies to me and prescribed me cialis and something called penoxyte or something like that. It's not been a month or two since I've seen him and when I message the patient portal he seems annoyed by me. He hasn't done any actual tests besides an ultrasound and semen culture and I've had std tests but I've only been with 2 girls. Should he be doing more?

Mostly though every time I look into the disease I read about a pain during sex and not afterwards. Usually it hurts around my head or upper shaft of my penis for weeks after sex, usually it's more of a discomfort almost like I have to pee. It'll get gradually worse then better usually. Is this normal for the disease? Is it possibly something else? Also I do have some curvature but it's only when I start to get hard and it's not all the time. I'm just so anxious lately that I will be stuck with this pain it's been hurting our sex life , we have sex monthly maybe because I'm worried about the pain. which my gf is great and understanding with but I'm such a sexual person and it's been difficult.

Thanks for any advice or info, sorry if it's a bit long.

I forgot to included this but I have issues with adult incontinence that started about a year and a half ago when this came back. The urologist said it's not possible that it's related and it's a coincidence, he thinks it's hereditary. It only happens really when I'm in the pain though and it's not that often, sometimes when bending down or if I cough mostly.

Welcome, I'm glad you found the forum.  First, I'd read the survival guide.  Then I'd ask for a copy of your medical records-particularly the ultrasound that was done.  Pentox and low dose nightly generic 5mg cialis is a good start.  But, I'd consider adding traction or VED.  Also, take something for the pain until it diminishes.  Such as oral NSAID and generic voltaren topical applied directly to your penis.

Hello and thanks for the reply,
I've been taking Tylenol daily for a while, the cialis is 5mg every other day and the pentox is twice a day, I forget the dose. The pain medicine is for headaches and I've been taking it for a while doesn't seem to help my penile pain at all. I haven't tried any kind of ointment like you mentioned so I can definitely look into that. Does the way my pain is make sense for Peyronies?

Thanks again

Yes, sounds like Peyronies Disease pain. Pentox can also help w the pain.  As far as remodeling the plaque, I'd take 5mg cialis nightly fior at least 6 mon the sx

Is pentox something I'd have to take forever to deal with it? And should I just ask my doctor about more then for now because it's still been bad? I've been taking it for about 2 months, is that not enough time to know if it's going to help the pain? I don't even know where or how bad the plaque is because my dr hasn't done any testing to see that, which tests would tell him?

Thanks for the reply again

Are you also taking an oral NSAID and topical generic voltaren on the penis? The combination might be more effective.  Pain is often gone after 6 months so you may only need them for pain another four months or so.
An ultrasound can diagnose Peyronies Disease.
