Once you enter stable phase are you still more prone to injury than pre-peyronies?
Can slipping from your diet or having sex or doing extreme sports bring the pain again or even put in you active phase again?
Do you have to always be cautious for fear of reoccurrence?

Age:23. Onset of symptoms: september 2020.
Curve mostly semi erect about 60 degrees, slight pain
Tried short & prolonged fasts, keto, carnivore, traction and most of the supplements.
Severe digestive issues, probably an autoimmune disorder

I seemed to be at risk for a year or two, and then now not so much as my penis is very elastic.
I think as long as you don't injure yourself in an obvious way and you are careful, once the active phase is over hopefully not. For me my diet and traction did change how at risk I seem to be.

Im still confused on whether the risk is having some temporary pain again for a day maybe or is the risk entering an active phase all over again, maybe both?
Im hoping to go back to doing martial arts when the active phase is over
And injury is certain, so some pain for a day is no big deal, but active phase all over again, thats messed up

If this helps, it seems to me that each person's penis has certain "pressure points" where it takes the most damage and wants to get scarring, so to speak.
This lines up with Dr. Levine's statement that congenital curvatures put a man at more risk for PDS. I also have a congenital curve and have noticed that the longer part of my penis tends to take damage in three main spots.

As I have done traction and opened up these spots, and elongated the shorted part of my penis, I seem to have structurally changed my penis so these parts no longer take damage. Traction has also lengthened my flaccid penis and made it more elastic and whole feeling. Because of this, I don't seem to be at risk anymore, or as much.

Well what about sex/masturbation, i saw on other posts that you recommend sexual activity only once a week, i assume you try to follow that rule yourself, for someone like yourself who is in a stable phase it sounds like you are very cautious and under a high risk of re-injury, or are you avoiding too much sexual activity because you are still trying to heal further?

I guess the questions are: why keep it to once a week when you are in stable phase and somewhat symptoms-free and under a low risk, What if you go wild for a few days and ejaculate multiple times a day? If thats not possible now will it be when the healing continues?

I'd say try restricting it and see if it makes a difference for you.  Everyone's different and some may benefit while others may not.

Thanks for the question,

I limit masturbation to once a week generally, but sex I will mostly do if I feel genuinely aroused. The reason I limit it is because I want to remain aroused and have my penis be as sensitive as possible to stimulation. I can now engage in sexual activity more often and it doesn't cause inflammation or pain, but I still try to stay as primed and aroused as possible. When peyronie's started I couldn't do anything, twice a day was to much or everyday. Now I can have sex or masturbate multiple times a day and I have no real issues.

Asphyxia

Well that gives me some hope
Thanks a lot for the responds i was really in the dark on this one

Understandeable. I feel similair. But honestly, i given up on my dck but not on myself yet. I am angry and frustrated like this, but I still rather live than die. That said I also live for a true cure one day. It all scks..

Hello Arnd, I get it...having a high sex drive (at any age) could be extremely stressful on limiting masturbation to once a week.  The irony is that stress level could aggravate medical conditions such as Peyronies Disease.  Not all treatment modalities are going to make sense for everyone.  It sounds like limiting jerking to once a week is not for you.  If one can't do that, they may want to just back- off some if it's causing discomfort.  t.

Bud luck

I stop watching porn and masturbate. I only use my penis sexually to have sex with my girlfriend 3 or 4 times a week. It makes a big difference for me.
My first symptoms started early in 2019
I tried Traction device, Pentofixiline, Q10, TRT, L-Argenine, cialis
I have narrowing/dent/hinge on the left side of my shaft
My ED is getting worse
Had a PRP shot Aug 2021
I have a girlfriend
Age 46

Well from what i concluded, the restriction of masturbation is only necessary on the acute phase and once thats over then masturbating often is fine so thats comforting,
Regarding the high sex drive, what helps me is fasting, it should help with the disease too so its a win-win
Many people who do nofap just do pushups and pullups randomly to get the energy out the system
Also, random pornographic ads on sites can drive me crazy, i really try to avoid sites like that or memes and such
But generally i just get depressed whenever i think of sex so i dont really get the sex drive much anymore

Neov, u said that diet and traction did change how at risk you seem to be, thats past tense, what about nowdays?
Can i go back to eating simple carbs/junk food when i enter stable phase or i fix the curve?

My body does very bad with burning fat as primary fuel, also at digesting fats, yet burning carbs like its nothing, feeling good on simple carbs and not feeling the insulin rollercoaster, i can do keto for a year or two but if il have to do it forevever for fear of reoccurence or worsening then im really hopeless.
Its day 12 of carnivore and havent poopped once wtf

Also you mentioned traction, after so many years on stable phase  are you done with it?
seeing posts of people having reoccurance after entering stable phase, guys, correct me if im wrong but this seems to be more about keeping symptoms at bay even after entering stable phase rather than "curing it" or ending inflammation and then moving on with your life and foregetting about it.

If junk food or food intolerances can increase scarring/inflammation then isnt it a never ending cycle
Food>scar tissue>traction

I feel like im asking the same questions again so apologies for that but i cant wrap my head around it
