Risk of Peyronie's from oral sex?

I developed Peyronie's from repeated bouts of rough sex with a 75% erection which definitely caused microtrauma, and now as I recover and abstain from penetrative sex I'm wondering about the risk of oral sex.

I recently received oral sex, and because of dulled sensitivity (no doubt from years of porn and masturbation) my penis also stayed at around 75% hardness. The girl wasn't rough, but I would sometimes thrust into and out of her mouth in rhythm, and now I'm wondering if this could've also caused microtrauma even though I didn't feel any pain. She also would sometimes pull it back a bit while getting another angle, and that sometimes would cause a tiny twinge of pain here and there but I also have hard flaccid which would've caused that.

On the one hand, the mouth obviously is not a tight space that can injure a thrusting penis like a vagina or anus can, but on the other hand since I was thrusting with a less than fully hard penis, do you think it's possible I could've done damage? I'm really nervous :(

No, I doubt you're doing any damage with this. But, most importantly, what are you doing to treat the Peyroines?

I'm on pentox 400mg 3x/day, cialis 5mg, and coq10 300mg 1x/day. I'm also on a low carb diet, and do intermittent fasting. I'm still worried about any impact to my penis though to the point where I don't have sex, except for oral sex sometimes and because of my anxiety i have trouble getting fully hard, hence my concern about injury to penis from oral sex with a semi-hard penis.

That's a great treatment plan wolf.  I'd also consider adding traction or VED.  I think oral sex (as opposed to intercourse or rough masturbation when not 90+% hard) wouldn't create problems-but could if rough I suppose.

Be sure to read the survival guide if you haven't and welcome!

One of my major dents was from oral sex.

peyroniesurprise

oral sex can definitely cause trauma or make trauma worse, so many weird angles/teeth, too high pressure only on one part of the penis etc.

The natural, normal PIV sex implies even and low pressure on all the penis shaft... oral is very different most of the time
31 yo, Hourglass Peyronies likely because of masturbation

Treatment: Vit E and fish oil (vitD+E), no more masturbation; good improvement so far, less hourglass both in flaccid and erect state, little to no pain during erection now

NeoV, do you remember what exactly happened?

@peyroniesurprise I hear what your saying, but for me the blowjob was pretty gentle, I made sure of that. The only thing that concerned me was a) I wasn't 100% hard, and b) I would sometimes thrust in and out of her mouth and even though I didn't feel anything hit or bend, I still wonder my penis still could've sustained injury even without feeling it.

You shouldn't have any type of sexual activity if you are not 99% erect. it's just asking for trouble, even if you don't have peyronie

Great feedback, I hadn't thought about rougher oral sex-bending-angles-pressure points etc.  like all sex, make sure you're erect and it's not rough.

damn it. I was supposed to start Zoloft for my depression and anxiety. Now I'm worried I might've damaged my dick, and am inclined to wait like a month to take it so it doesn't impact my dick. Ugh. FML.

I've heard that SSRIs can cause sexual dysfunction and possibly have metabolic effects like increased blood sugar and insulin. Not sure if it's true though.

To echo peyroniesurprise, there needs to be freakin PSAs on TV about what not to do with your junk.  Pushing a softie is more than likely what nailed me.

Wolf, any meds can have side effects.  SSRIs can cause delay in some men.  If that's you. Your doc can try another RX such as Wellbutrin.

The oral sex was a bit rough, and if your penis hits the back of your partner's throat, it can cause major damage. I only had that happen with one girl and after that I got a new dent.

jan.schaller1958

SSRIs are really kind of junk drugs, sorry to say. I had a psychiatrist give me Prozac once and it never did a thing for me. Total garbage of a drug. Took it a month and tossed it. I told that doctor that and he said ,,well, when it works (which it doesn't always in everyone), it really makes a difference." Right. Zero effect. I told him to just up my Xanax dose and I'd be fine, which he reluctantly did, because benzos are the only thing that really work in everyone. But, he didn't increase it that much. So, unfortunately with depression, you're kind of between a rock and a hard place. The good drugs, like the benzos that really work, they don't like giving you because they think they're addictive, and the junky drugs, like Zoloft, Prozac, the whole lot, don't even work.

Did you remember feeling your penis hit the back of her throat though? And was it painful? I was pumping her mouth but I don't recall hitting anything hard, and I imagine I would've if I had been rough enough to hit my penis into the back of it. She gagged a few times but again I never felt any hit, and I'm curious if you did during your encounter. I remember banging my dick hard during doggy style and I felt that like hell; that's what caused my initial injury years ago.

Yes I did feel it hit the back of her throat several times and it concerned me. Regular oral sex that's gentle shouldn't be much of an issue whatsoever, in my opinion.

I know a lot of people who have benefitted from SSRIs. I also have ADHD and my doctor wants me to try some stimulants which also make me nervous due to the vasoconstriction. Catch 22 :(

Just ignore Jan, he generalizes his own experience to everyone-not his medicine works!

Well, Tony, like I say, if it works for you, have at it. But, SSRIs never didn't a thing for me. Benzos did/do, but nothing else comes to mind for depression.

Your experience, or mine is only that.  What matters is research studies and the experience of large groups of people.  Do you know how ridiculous your claims sound?

I sound ridiculous, Tony? What do I sound ridiculous about? If someone is having a lot of anxiety and panic attacks you sure as H@ll don't put them on Prozac or Zoloft. Even if those junk drugs work a little in some people, they take a month or more to even kick it! Give them a benzo and they're good to go and happy in 30 minutes. Now that is a major medical advantage, IMO.

And you are putting benzos down all the time, but I have research studies that say that long term use of benzos, though controversial, is debated by many experts in the psychiatric field. You make psychiatrists who prescribe benzos long term sound like they are all quacks and that's not true.

Prozac or Zoloft is usually used for depression-you're the one that has been saying anti-depressant medications are junk.  Btw, that benzo's make one feel good is more about getting high than treating a mental health condition.
