Hi, I'm 28 years old and when I was 23 I had some trauma to the bottom right base side of my penis. Slipped out with a girl on top and did not make reentry. It hurt but I did not lose my erection. My doctor and urologist just said wait there's nothing you can do it's all in your head. Saw 3 different people when it happened and nobody even tried to help they just wanted to cut me open. At about 26 I started learning there may be things you can do I think I took l-Argenine fending vitamin D C and E for about a month and a half then lost my job and could not afford to continue. I'm trying again this time using things I found on PDI. Might be a scam but it had helpful info IMO. I'm using l-citrulline paba vitamin E C and D as well as omega 3 fish oil and Fibrozym on an empty stomach. Sometimes I feel as if I'm improving sometimes I'm not so sure. I can get an erection but sometimes have trouble keeping it. I am having a positive outlook I am hoping I can get my old penis back. I do not have a curve but a thinning base and can't get fully erect most times. Even a "full" erection falls short of the good days. I have not gotten x/rays or any look inside the body due largely to cost. Anyone with experience or anything helpful to add to my journey I would appreciate it and would love to share a success story with you all to inspire men to take their life back. I recently got prescribed viagra but the dr. From PDI said it's a bad idea as you can over fill your penis and cause more issues with this Peyronie's. Tho I have not been officially diagnosed my symptoms seem to align with it. I have 100mg tablets of viagra. Could I cut them down to do a lasting treatment of taking some each day to promote blood flow safely? I am and have always been active but am recently changing my diet to reflect that more. Sorry if this post is sporadic but my mind is as such right now. Please advise thank you.

I would not waste any money on these voodoo cures like taking fish oil or vitamins and minerals or avoiding sugar. Go with real science, not nonsense you get from non-doctors off the internet. You don't even have a diagnosis yet of anything.

Find a Peyroines specialist and get the full exam. It's not hard to make a Peyroines diagnosis anyway, just an ultrasound by a Peyroines specialist will do. What if you don't even have Peyroines? After all, the median age of onset is 55- 60.

If you can get to San Francisco see Dr. Lue at UCSF. (Google his name. Easy to find). If elsewhere, there are several other good andrologists many of whom are disciples of Dr Lue and trained under him. You need a diagnosis to treat any medical problem.

Well what else could it be? All I could think is a venous leak? I just don't want to have to get a shot or surgery and my doctor right now won't refer me to a urologist until after I see how the viagra works in my sex life which I am too insecure about right now to even have. I do agree that after years of suffering a great deal is in my head. But I don't know how much.

Thank you. Reading now and it seems to be how I feel but to think it's all psychological is a stretch to me. Though I've heard about taking 2.5mg of viagra daily to help a situation like thing. Thank you for the article.

That was a great read by the way. It filigreed science to doctors saying "it's all in your head". Which sounds ridiculous on the surface when there are clear deformities but to think my mind is tightening my tissue subconsciously was a wild realization. I am saving to get an ultrasound soon if I do not progress.

Yeah, you really need a diagnosis. It's like if the check engine light went on in your car, you'd take it in to the pros to check it out. You wouldn't just assume it's nothing and keep on driving around.  Without a diagnosis you're just guessing. At 28, absent any number of possible physiologic disorders, only one of which is Peyroines, you shouldn't need viagra or cialis at all (viagra comes in 20mg Tablets, sometimes 50 and 100mg tabs I think). When I was 28, in like 1986, we didn't even have viagra or cialis. We didn't have sh*t. So, yeah, diagnosis first, then the doc figures out treatment.
