Thought I would post this here. Personally I still worry about liver damage and Gotu Kola but need to do more research.

So what, you're suggesting starting supplementation of these two?
30 degree dorsal curve, immobility and heavy loss of girth.
My body seems to get very inflamed when I masturbate too often or eat unhealthy.
Using antioxidants, Pentox and hirudoid cream, as well as manual traction, heat and Cialis.

Nice find.....I took Pycnogenol for years.....not sure if if helped since I was doing so many other things as well. I would be willing to give it a 6 moth try even though I am OK with 15 degree curve I still have
Born 1960, Diagnosed 2013
Initial 40 degree bend, 1" loss, Xiaflex 3 rds of 2 injections
Current 25 degree bend, no palpable plaque, 1/4" loss
VED 5-6 days/week, traction daily,
TRT 20 ml twice weekly, Cialas 3 mg - No ED - Doing Well!

Crooked let us know how it goes!

NeoV, this study seems "sponsorized" to me. but nice find
26 yo from Italy.
Peyronie's since abt 2014
Abt 20-25° bend, w/ a moderate twist to the left
ED for 4 years and getting worse
From pornstar-like to moderately depressed - still fighting for a solution.

Hey guys sorry, I posted this on the way home and couldn't edit it.

I'm still afraid of gotu kola, due to my fear of liver damage from it.
I don't take supplements anymore, but I tend to recommend just pycnogenol and CoQ10.
Sadly yeah, I think most studies on even supplements have to be sponsored like this or trademarked to get funding. At least it's better than studying drugs in many cases!

As far as gotu kola goes, it certainly is interesting. If you look at the old post on it, Hawk was actually taking it when he developed Peyronie's. Of course, that doesn't mean anything but just interesting to note. Whatever the case, it seems like a very powerful herb (check out the heart fibrosis studies). But yeah, I tend to doubt trademarked herbs just as much as drugs, including pycnogenol even though I like it. In my mind, grade seed extract, green tea, cocoa, resveratrol etc. would work just as well, but I don't know. Gotu kola does have something in it that specifically helps wound healing and increases collagen production.

Those who trademarked pine bark as "Pycnogenol" and gotu kola as "Centellicum."
I'm not worried about it at all. All the studies we have so far are on drugs and trademarked compounds. The study seems high quality, but I haven't read the full text. I'm just excited when we get ANY study on a supplement and Peyronie's.

I went ahead and ordered some and will be a guinea pig and will report back here if it does anything. I am not getting my hopes up though as I think most of the studies on treatments for peyronies that claim to work have not worked at all on me. I had high hopes for Restorex but it didn't help my plaque or bend. Many other supplements I have tried that studies say works also did nothing.
Age, 40's.

Had peyronie's for more than 10 years. Developed glans lump, then had poor erections and soft glans.

Made a lot of progress over the years with diet and avoidance of sugar and high carbs. Still have the lump but it's much smaller now.

Tried this for a month. Nothing positive to report, seemed to kill erections and make my flaccid hang smaller. Based on more BS studies with vested interests I believe.

Thanks for the reply. Personally, pycnogenol has always helped my erections, but I can say nothing about Gotu Kola. Glad you tried it anyway man.

Yeah, unless someone from the forum tries it out, we wont know if it really works or not. I tried just gotu kola full spectrum first until the Pycnogenol Centellicum combo turned up, then I switched to that. The full spectrum gotu kola killed my erections even more than the combo of Pycnogenol and Centellicum so I suspect it was this that was making the erections worse.
