Younghopeful

Hi all,

I've been a post reader for the last year since this all started for me but I haven't posted much myself so I hope I am posting in the correct location, my apologies to the mods if I am not!

The last year has been tough for me, as I'm sure most people here can relate to. I have yet another appointment with my uro later this week to discuss how colchicine has been treating me and to also discuss (again) the P shot (PRP). Anyway, below I am going to briefly describe my experience as well as the treatments I have been trying and will discuss what I am planning in the coming weeks. I'd like to invite anyone with experience in the treatments I've tried or plan on trying to chime in, as well as anyone who is (unfortunately) newer than I here to feel free to ask questions and I will share what I can. I apolgize as this may be quite the read. Also some background, I am a 23 yo who is relatively fit (athlete)

Approx 1 year ago I was using a cockring, nothing out of the ordinary. The next day I was in a great deal of pain at the base of my penis on the right side and when I got an erection it only filled out to about a third of what it normally would, it also curved about 45 degrees to the right. The pain had stayed near constant (primarily when flaccid) for the next 8 months and has slowly started to ease recently, mainly after starting colchicine about 6 weeks ago.
At the base where the cockring would have sat, the skin has slowly become hypopigmented. I also have what I would describe as my primary concern; some hourglassing around the same area that is circumferential, though the worst is the right side where the pain originated. Close to the base on the right side there is visable scarring in front of the space that is dented, and there are some less noticeable bands of scarring on the left side. Interestingly, I have noticed that the denting is VERY noticeable when coming down from an erection and sometimes pronounced during the day when I believe my pelvic floor is tightening up (it was present near constantly in the first 8 months when I was experiencing what I think was hard flaccid, but has gotten mildly better with time). When erect it looks ALMOST perfectly normal, but I know what my penis was before this all and it isnt quite what it was. it is also worth noting that when erect there is almost no curve (its been like this since very early) but sometimes when flaccid it will bend dramatically, it has been hard to get a photo showing the flaccid curve because it is rather trasient. There are also times when it looks perfectly normal when flaccid, usually when I have to poop but also at other random points through the day.
I masterbated probably 3 times after this started during the first 4 months, but have since stopped and also have not had sex. Early on this was because of the pain but the reason for abstinance quickly changed to abstaining because of how the sight of the intense hourglassing messes with my mental. This all being said, I have recently met a new girl and intend of giving things a shot later this week with her (she seems very understanding, though it is intimidating since I used to be incredibly proud of my penis in all states and now I am rather self conscious about how it will look primarily when flaccid and after the deed is done so to say)

As for treatments,
Early on through my own research I begged for pentox (uro said it would be pointless), and eventually got him to prescribe it for me. Used it for a few months and didnt seem to notice any help in regards to appearance or pain.
I also tried ESWT, 5 treatments of it. In the short term it seemed to help with the pain, but shortly after the pain seemed to return. It's hard to say exactly, but it also seems that the skin pigment changes started to show up during the course of the ESWT treatments which may be a coincidence. It also seems that after the treatments my erect penis didnt look or feel quite as "full", but again that could be coincidental
Recently I've been taking colchiline which as I said has seemed to help quite a bit with the pain. The pain it now rather rare, but its worth noting I haven't "used" my penis in months

Now for the juicy stuff, PRP
When I see my uro this week I am going to have a conversation about cialis, I think he will be hesitant to suggest it (he has been much help and has been rather dismisive about basically all treatment ideas I've come to him with). But from what I've heard I think it may help some. I also want to get another prescription for colchiline since I have not had any negative side effects and it has been the ONLY thing to touch the pain.
I have talked to him about the P shot in the past, and he chalked it up to a nothing treatment and a waste of money that he wouldn't suggest. I have also gone in to 3 different places in my area that offer the P shot (and are listed on Dr Runels website directory). All of them said only good things and that it would quite possibly help, suggesting that between my relatively minor case and fit young body chances are I would be in their roughly 66% that see results. It has been a very challenging decision to make seeing as my uro says don't do it, but the practitioners that offer it say it very well could help. I've also read a number of posts here on the forum with some stating they had no results and others stating significant improvement. At this point I think its going to come down to just making a call on it so to say. I do have high hopes for PRP, I'm not looking for a pornstar penis. Honestly if it could help improve the hourglassing even slightly and get me a little closer to where I was I would be more than happy (as I said earlier, I was very happy with my penis before.) My concerns are that it may make things worse as I have a rather overactive imflammatory response (keloid scars from back acne and such). I have money to spend so if it ended up doing nothing I wouldn't have lost anything.

I have documented my experience rather well with photos over the last year, and intend on posting some to give those out there interested a better understanding of how my case has progressed and what my symptoms really look like. I will also take (as best as I know how) some photos before the P shot and continue to update with photos and text after the shot should I decide to follow through in the next 2 weeks. On that note, if those who know the forum a bit better than I do could direct me to where it would be appropriate to post such photos it would be appriciated!

Thanks to anyone who truely took the time to read what I shared and anyone who engages in a conversation, we're all here to help each other after all.

Hey brother. Hope all is well. I read your post and I have a question for you. When you say your flaccid penile curve is transient, do you mean it bends right in front of your eyes like a cramp almost, and then straightens back out? Therefore, there's no time to get a picture of video because it's so unpredictable? I've been having this a lot lately and I'm 😟
Male. 28 Years Old. Unsure if I have peyronie's disease or not?

I have been having this also, where my penis not hard looks twisted. I try to take picture with my phone but then it goes to normal before I can take, lol.  My friend says it has a mind of its own.
