Hey gang. I had my office visit with Dr Levine. I have plaque, and an 80 degree hourglass hinge. He suggested PEG (Penile Excision Grafting) with a synthetic graft. I am of course terrified. I am looking for anyone who went through this, their results, was it worth it, and more specifically those who had this procedure done by Dr Levine.

Thank you!

Peyronies From Feb 2020. 80 Degree dorsal curve, hour glassing, much pain.
PEG Surgery WAS on Feb 10, 2021 with Dr Levine
Success: 85% - Graft slipped, deformed, but better than it was.

Hey Daremo! Whilst i am not linking anything right now, there were plenty of people here that had surgery with Dr. Levine. In your case, normally the decision factor for the doctor is if you have current ED or not, and then he decides on PEG or implant. Given that you may be left with some ED post operatively.

Please run a search or two in the board, to find out threads that may be of interest to you.

10 weeks ago I had a Lue procedure to fix a 90 degree bend to the left. I have experienced very minimal loss of sensation as I didn't need a circumcision and no erectile dysfunction at all. I am already having regular and satisfying sex with my wife.
I would definitely go for it. It was the best decision I ever made.

Thank you and congrats on the success! I'm certainly headed in that direction myself. I can't imagine going through the rest of my life like this, and since I'm 48 and my Fiancé is 34, I sort of have a bit of an obligation to her. Haha

It's really an easy fix surgically...
I had Plication done.  Takes 45 mins in surgery... fairly easy recovery

Is there some kind of formula where you can calculate the loss of length that you would get? I know that it depends on severity of curvature like 1cm per 15 degree I heard. So when I have 20 degree left curvature and 15 degree up, is that then 1cm loss of if the curvature is multiplanar so up and left for example is there even more loss? Would measuring the shorter side of the penis not along but across the curve give an good estimate? Cause at 4.5 inches in length half an inch loss would be too much to bear already. And I think it's kind of ridiculous to. Go into surgery with the expectation that you don't lose a mm of length isn't it. How much length are people losing with this lue procedure?

The shorter side of the penis pre-op will be the new size after surgery

I did not have the Lue procedure, but did have excision and grafting.  I was 50 degrees to the left and after surgery was pretty much straight.  Due to my large calcified plaque however, after a year I had a hinge effect after the graft location.  I would do it again as it removed a lot of calcified plaque and straightened me out.  I did end up with an implant as a result however in my case
