Uncircumcised with Restorex

Hi,

This has been touched on before, but I've just received my Restorex in the UK via Parcl and am having real trouble getting it to work. I figure this would be a lot simpler with uncircumcised penises but I wondered whether any uncircumcised users had experience with what the best way to use it is? Is there a knack to wrapping or closing it.

My main initial issues are:

1) When I get it clamped, wrapped or not, it tends to slip out - bending mechanism especially. Any tighter and it wont close.

2) Keeping foreskin out the way when clamping

3) I'm struggling to get rid of the white lines. If I extend it more it slips out way before they disappear.

Did anyone else, Circ or not, have these issues and did it get any easier?

Thanks

Be sure to fully push back the foreskin onto the shaft and don't clamp it.  Go slowly, it's way too soon too be burying the white lines.

Hey,

I am uncircumcised and on my third day with Restorex, I've been experiencing similar issues. For me, it either slips out or I have to close it so tightly that the tip goes numb and darkens a lot. Apparently the latter is less of an issue when you're doing the shorter 10 min sessions but still.

I agree with TonySa. I usually pull the foreskin back and then wrap half the head and the area directly below with a thin gauss, I then add a bit of the tape that came with the Restorex, two laps or so. Adding this both protects that thin skin as well as provides some thickness. I make sure that the ridge of the clamp is somewhere just below the head.

This works for me, although I am not sure it is the optimal solution. It is still early days so I keep experimenting with caution, I am also not too bothered about burying the white lines at this early stage.

Hope that helps!

RestoreX user for about a year here (uncircumcised). I've found that the type of tape you use makes a big difference. The sample included with the product wasn't the best type for me. Try different types. For me (in the US), "TopCare SelfGrip Bandage" worked best. It's less sticky, less stretchy, thicker, more of a cotton cloth feel. You'll still have to tighten the clamp uncomfortably, but it stays put way better than the thinner stretchier kinds of tape.

As they say in the manual, make sure not to tighten the tape around the glans - it's tempting for easier application, but you'll restrict bloodflow too much.

Disclosure: I personally didn't get any improvements with RestoreX, and some doctors tell me they don't believe 2x30 mins/day can really help, even with the rotational action. At least, their customer support is great (some folks still got that old-timey Midwestern politeness).

Yes, one should pull the foreskin back as far as possible, but that doesn't solve this problem in itself.
Unfortunately, for many uncut guys, ventral foreskin is attached high on the frenulum and can't be fully pulled out of the clamp's way. There's quite a bit of anatomical variation among us and I'm pretty sure Darren already did his best before posting.

Not worrying about the white lines is useful thanks. It goes on about making sure they disappear some much in the manual that I admit that was concerning me that it wasn't even getting close. I'll just crack on with 8-10 minutes session attempts for now and maybe try some gauze as well.

And using the bending mechanism. Well that just makes it slip out immediately - the first notch seems so high on the shaft too!

Hopefully I'll get the hang of it. I don't want to give up before giving it a proper try.

So if any other non-American/religious folk are interested. I've managed to use the clamp with relative ease and have even hidden the white lines. I cut about 20-15cm if small width bandage, pulled my foreskin back and wrapped the bandage around the pulled back skin and some of the head, I then wrapped the supplied wrap around the head and ridge. Stretched out the old chap and clamped it under and it's stayed for a full 10 minutes. I did have to widen the clamp to fit in the extra padding but this has worked for me.

Good luck all!

Mr man

This is not exclusively a uncircumcised penis problem. Am circumsized and struggle to get the clamp to hold tight enough without reducing circulation.

Thanks for the tips.
Latest routine. Started l-lysine 3mg daily, l-proline 5mg daily. Increased vit c intake. Accompanied with almost daily vacuum therapy. Pumping to 100% Exercise caution! Made good progress. L arginine supplements and prescribed potaba are helping.
