Hi all. As you know, i'm considering an implant. I've got 2 more questions about it.

1. How much will an implant last, on average?
I've visited Dr. Eid website, he says that if you use 1-2 times a week, it will last 10-15 years. I find this ridicolous, tbh. I'm 26 years old, if i'll contain myself, 3 times a week will only be masturbation. Lets say that i've got a girlfriend and i have sex with her another 3 times a week. It means that, on average, i'll use it 6 times per week. So 3 times Dr. Eid's statement.

Does it mean that my implant's lifespan will be of 3-5 years? It would cost an insane amount of money. I would like to know, from the long-term implanted brothers, how much did your implant last before "breaking up" and how much was your usage by average.

2. Let's say that my implant will last 7 years. It means that i'll have to have many many revisions during my life: for example, from 26 to 70, it means that i'll have about 6-7 revisions. But many people say that, the more revisions you have, the more it's risky for penile infections.
So i would like to know:
-Why if you have revision you are more prone to infections? What's the scientifical principle?
- I've read that after the 4° revision, your risk of infection is nearly 100%. Is it true? It means that my sexual life would end in my 40's. Unbearable.

Hope794, I am not quite sure about your question. I believe the information you got from Online search engines is the average. You may not like what you have read, but averages are based on data. Sadly it is what it is.
Of course your implant could last only 7 years or it could last 20 years. No one actually knows.
In addition, despite sex being sex, we all practice sex differently.
Some guys penetrate for 5 minutes and it’s over, some guys penetrate for hours.
I guess what I am trying to say, is that it’s hard to predict how long each persons implant will truly last. Averages are averages.
I believe only you and an excellent surgeon can determine what is best for you and when.
But keep in mind, if you don’t like what you hear, don’t shoot the messenger. Everyone is trying to help.
I have a shoulder implant that when implanted, I was told at the time it would last 10-15 years. Now it says they last 15-20 years. I am at 18 years.
I know this is not what you want to hear, I am so sorry and yes I have no idea what you are going through at such a young age. I wish you peace in moving forward.. or

I don't have much to say except to repeat what has been said but I am going to repeat it.  Implants have been known to last only a year.  They have been known to last over 20 years but if I was 26 that would not be my concern.  My concern would be whether I can currently have mutually satisfying sex now or whether I can't.   

As Tony already stated, if you can't then the only thing that makes sense is to get an implant and have sex unless you think waiting until 66 to have sex makes sense.  If you do think that makes sense II would certainly be interested in the logic you use to come to that conclusion because I  think it is crazy.  An implant is going to allow you to have flawless sexual performance for X number of years.  Do you want sex for X number of years at 26 or at 66?


If you can have satisfying sex then why are you even considering an implant?

Finally, one more clarification.  A Titan is firm enough that you can easily masturbate without pumping it at all or no more than 2 or 3 pumps that would put little or no have little or no impact on the life of the implant.

Let me explain. Here, in Italy, a good surgeon which performs an implant surgery costs about 22.000 bucks. The italian average salary is like 1300 bucks a month.
This means that, since i will [email protected]< a lot with an implant (i'll use it about 6 times a week, if we consider sex and masturbation) it means that every 5 years i'll need a revision.

Obviously, i will not be able to have enough savings for an implant every 5 years. That's why i'm concerning about that. Furthermore, if i'm 26 and i'll need many revisions, i don't want my penis to be infected at the 3° or 4° revision. You know what i mean?

That's why i'm asking. Is there anyone here who is using the implant more than the 1-2 times a week that Eid said? How much did it last for these guys? That was my question basically.

NOTE FOR HAWK: Yes, i can have erections, but not a good penetrative sex, because i lose erection really fast as soon as i stop using the hand to keep it up

Many men cycle their implant once or twice daily for 2 years in order to regain size.
You do not have to activate an implant to mastrubate.So that would not count
I understand you to say that you cannot have intercourse now.  I am guessing that you are single so you do not want to try to use a VED for intercourse.
Can you maintain an erection for intercourse with Viagra or Cialis?

Basically it has to be your choice
If you can do NOTHING to have intercourse now then I would get an implant now, have sex until it failed and do without intercourse after it broke.
To me that makes more sense than doing without intercourse now and waiting for some future time that may not even come

If you can have intercourse now with Viagra with or without a cockring I would probably waits untile that did not work any more.

Hope, I know NO men who can maintain a full erection without stimulation. Do you mean that you cannot have sex because you lose the erection while thrusting? This is confirmed to be physiological?

I’ve wondered about your question as well and I wonder what it is exactly about revisions that cause infection. Is this simply due to ones overall health getting poorer over the years? I imagine if you’re mindful with how you use it and healthy, you can extend their lifespan and avoid infection.

Regarding the cockring/viagra, i have to try the maximum dose of viagra. At the moment i've tried 10mg cialis, yes it does a little bit, but it doesnt address the venous leak, so i lose fast my erection. Cockring at 26 is humiliating, i would prefer not to tell a new girl that i can't get hard with it..


ANSWER FOR NEOV: Yo bro, actually at 26 just looking a cool girl should give you a potent erection, which stays up even without constant manual stimulation. If it doesn't, probably you have fibrosis (and that's what happened to us..). I say this because i can remember my penis at 20 years old before this crap, and trust me, it was 100% of the time hard even without touching it. That's the correct way a penis should work at that age, IMHO.

Hope, I’d be sure to try the max dose cialis (20 mg).  Also, maybe reconsider a cock ring.  They are pretty inconspicuous and if it’s the difference between staying hard or going limp, I’d expect your partner to choose staying hard.  Also, as we age one will never have their great adolescent cock again, even if one doesn’t have Erectile Dysfunction.  Keep trying, we’re cheering for you to find a good solution!
