Did you gain any girth with your implant?

Have had Peyronie's for about 4 years. Last year have become worse. Been doing manual traction which has helped gain back a centimeter or two that was previously lost, but in terms of girth I'm probably at about 60% of my original. I was wondering, for you who has had an implant, did you regain any girth that you had lost due to Peyronie's? If so how much?

I can get erections using Cialis, but seriously considering an implant, in case it can help increase my girth.

Also wondering if your implant helped the hollow, constricted feeling Peyronie's and hard flaccid can cause in the penis.

I was pretty much stable for three years, then all of a sudden I got some intense inflammation in my dick and it worsened considerably within a month or two. Since then I've had short bouts of these inflammatory periods which have made things progressively worse. I have combated some of it using traction though, but overall it was better a year-18 months ago.

As soon as I get an autoimmune flare up, the inflammation targets my dick. If I eat sugar, my dick immediately gets inflamed.

Jay,

Have you tried VED to offset your girth losses? From what i've heard a Titan can help gain ~20% girth.
Injury in April 2020. Onset of ED.
Started RestoreX and VED 2 months after injury.
Taking 10mg daily cialis, pentox, coq10, vit-e.
Traction (+1 inch)/VED/PGE-1/DMSO+X

I've had both an AMS and a TITAN, TITAN def adds more girth.  You can look up the sizes available in both lines in the implant section of the forum.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

I think that is difficult to answer but lets start with what is certain.

1.  An implant will stop all loss of length and girth
2.  A Titan works best to correct deformity such as bends curve and hourglassing or dents
3. A Titan clearly works better for a penis over 6 1/2" in length (some say 7") or a girth over 5 1/2"
4.  I gained about 1/4" or slightly less in girth from a Titan implant

Now, I still did not answer your question.  I am not exactly sure of my girth before Peyronies Disease . I am not even certain I lost girth with Peyronies Disease.  I did however have a large dent in the underside of the shaft at the base that was corrected immediately.  Was that solely from the Titan or did Dr. Eid make any relief incisions that would help that?  I also lost about  1 5/8" in length and gained at least 5/8" in length back.

I wish I could tell you I lost 1/4" in girth and gained it back but I cant BUT I either did that or it made me 1/4" bigger than I ever was.

I am not sure if you lost 3/4 of an inch in girth how much you would get back over time.

Just because a Titan has more girth potential does not mean it will make you that large as an unrestricted Titan laying on a table.  I am 5 1/4" at the base and I know Titan implants have more girth than that, but not in my penis they don't.

Yes I recovered and expanded my girth.
I measured back in 2015, pre Nesbit surgery.
Check out my posts for my measurements as I don't recall now, as they seem less important.
I did get thicker girth.
I am thinking at my base now, I
Measured 6"+. And I never had that.
I like what I have now.
Works great, feels great.
All good

Interesting. I just bought a VED actually. I tried one in the past, but it caused me excruciating pain. But this was just months after my initial injury. So will try again. You gained an inch both ways without traction, just VED?

TonySA, Hawk, Stepone, LouisFernandez: Thanks for sharing guys. I'm at the stage where I feel I have to do something. And an implant is risky stuff, especially since I can get natural erections. So I may just put all my eggs in one basket and hope an implant fixes my girth issue. If not, well at least I tried. Going to try to do as much manual traction and VED as possible to grow it before I have the implant done.

Jay,

I thought you needed Cialis for erections.  If that is the case, that is not natural erections.  That comment confused me a little.

I consider hand traction to be mor risky than mechanical traction.  I am not saying you need  to buy a traction device if you don't have one but if you decide on an implant I would work diligently to get as much length as possible before the implant because you will get a bigger implant.

For proper erections yes, I kind of need Cialis. I can still get erections without it, but they're not that great/full. Although it depends, some days are easier than others.

I have two traction devices (RestoreX and Penimaster Pro). I've never been able to figure out how to use them though, unfortunately. Such a hassle. But I've had decent results from manual traction along with heat, so think I will just continue with this along with VED.

Has the implant helped with penile pain? I have pain both while flaccid and erect. When erect, I can feel the scar tissue on both sides preventing my dick from further expansion. While flaccid, it kind of just hurts from time to time.

I think manual tracktion can help along with mechanical traction but don't expect much out of it alone.  It is way too short duration.  It is inconsistant with degree of tension as is likely more apt to cause injury.

The are numerous video on using both traction devices.  Go to the traction board and ask questions.

I tried various traction and pump devices. The gains all seemed temporary and never were noticed when I was erect.
I did some damage a few times.
I am not so sure about this stuff.
I think there are menu items to just discuss traction, etc devices. Maybe this should be there.

I have hard flaccid most of the time so not able to stretch the penis out far enough in the traction devices. But yeah I intend to try again.

How much do you think you had before the implant? If you're 6 now. Is it like 1/2 inch improvement? More?

I think I've lost at least an inch in terms of girth, maybe more since I have Peyronies Disease on both sides of my shaft.

I was tired too when i wrote it. so sorry
I meant to say,
Prior to getting my implant
I tried various traction and pump devices. The gains all seemed to be temporary and not long lasting.
I hurt my penis a few times, by strapping it in the traction device for too long.
And I was wondering if this discussion should be in this section of implants or in the section with devices.
Sorry for all the confusion

JayGould,
Sounds like we may have had the same Peyronies Disease issues. I was just implanted 8/10, so the jury is still out for me. Technically, I'm not supposed to "activate" until I see the doc on 9/16, but I have been healing well and I couldn't wait. Seems probable that i will get girth back. I "shouldered off" significantly at the Peyronies Disease site (both sides) and didn't fill out above the Peyronies Disease and although I still have less girth at the top than the base, there is no more "shouldering off". More importantly, it is solid and no more hinging. I am hopeful that I will gain some girth and length back. I had good elasticity heading into surgery. (Also replied to your post on FT).

Jay,
Yes, I think we both had similar issues.
But, I think the surgeons that initially did our surgeries for bend, etc., should have mentioned implants then.
I think they did a big injustice to me and my penis, LOL, by not suggesting an implant.
Of course, my Nesbit was 5 years ago, so implants may not have been as common.
But, had I known that the implant would have corrected my curve, my hinge, and my narrowing, I certainly would have opted for the implant and not the Nesbit and I would still be operating with a longer penis. BUT, my spouse actually prefers my new length and thicker girth.
So I am happy.
You should add your stats to your signature....or maybe you did and I forgot.
That way, when you talk with people, they will know when your surgery was, etc.
Yes, you should get girth plus back plus some. I did.
And over time, your girth will even out more too. Mine did also.
Its sad, but I am no longer sure if I now measure 6.5 or 7.0., That is a testimonial to how much I like my new cock's girth and it's performance. LOL.
