Pentox is known to inhibit collagen synthesis and increase collagenase which breaks down collagen. Ive been taking it for awhile now, but am wondering if it can accelerate skin aging since it inhibits collagen. My skin seems nicer while on it, but im wondering why since it inhibits collagen?

Are there any studies or evidence showing pentox effects on the skin?
Is there any reason to believe it will accelerate skin aging?

Never heard of Pentox having an effect on skin.  It's just a blood thinner and is not FDA approved for Peyroines, probably because it doesn't do anything. It was worthless for me for Peyroines.

I've been on it for quite a while but don't think much of it.. It has suppressed my appetite and I've lost a bit of weight. Makes my penis look slightly bigger while its slowly shrinking and bending away. That's the biggest perk I've experienced.

Is it? I only know it as a prescription drug that works as a blood thinner. See for example: https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-5022/pentoxifylline-oral/details

It is great that you feel as though you're looking younger after taking this sea moss extract thing. The link you shared did not have anything to do with Pentox though, which is what this thread is about.

There seems to be some suggestions that the anti-inflammatory properties of Pentox are beneficial to various skin issues like psoriasis (see for example https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4228656/), but I'd say its a stretch to say that it reduces skin ageing.

If you think that you experience any negative side effects from Pentox, such as rashes or the like, I would raise it with the doc who prescribed it to you. Otherwise, I think you're safe to continue taking it.
