Trimix caused me Peroynes

9 months ago the guy that works at the men's clinic gave me a trimix injection. I was hard for over 3 hours with excruciating pain, then I injected the antidote to put the erection down. Two days later, I had a curve, like 10 degrees to the left on the 2/3 of the shaft, with a dentation.A month after, I started the traction  with the "androperoynes" and pentofixiline,Q10, daily cialis, castor oil, l-argenine. Now is been 6 months with the therapy, I barely have a curve, the problem is narrowing on the left side and little dentation, that cause me a "hinge" effect  when is semi-hard, but not when is hard. I read in an article that verapamil injections work great for narrowing and the "hinge" effect, but the Urologist told me that because the Trimix injection caused me the dentation, the verapamil injections could make my condition worst. Please help!!!!!what do I do?

The same for me as well but with quad-mix. I Injected about once a week for about a year or more now I have a bend to the right (the side I injected in as I am a righty).

I have an appointment next week for a dinamic dopler. Doctor will inject prostagladin to get the erection.
Are there real risks? What? Very worried?

What information reveals a dinamic dopler rather than a flaccid doppler?

I only have peyronies.

When done erect can also diagnose types of ED.

I understand the risk from one injection is very low, just Be sure to compress the injection site immediately after injection for 5-10 minutes to stop any internal bleeding.

Trimix is a dangerous drug, I wonder how many men got penis deformity because of it

There are risks with ED injections but many men do well.  I wonder how many men had sex lives restored by injections and were glad they did not sit around saving their penis for a time that never came.

I use trimix 13. Works great but I have burning as soon as injected that continue sometime into the next day. If I use for more than 2 times a week I get residual swelling for a day or two. I will occasionally get some feeling down my right leg with use. Had ED for 6 years with very gradual worsening to point pills stopped working and switched to injection 16 months ago. I have noticed an onset of a slight upward curve and some loss of girth from mid shaft distally up to an inch difference from lower shaft. My wife is used to my size and the latter has me checking into surgery so I don't continue to lose. I have done some research and it looks as if I need to make an appointment with Dr. Eid for a consultation. I did order a restorer and hoping that will help. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I had an ultrasound this past January.  I'd had 3 trimix induced erections for other studies previously with no problems.  This time I had a lot of discomfort afterwards and have had bilateral narrowing.  I still have corpora discomfort occasionally.  I'm on antioxidants, low dose cialis every other day or so, Pentox.  Any thoughts on interventions to stop pain or further atrophy. Very frustrating.

Yes trimix tends to do that thanks to the acidity of the papaverine.

For anyone reading this, in order to mitigate fibrosis I recommend:

1) using 34g needles

2) try to use pge1 and phentolamine instead of any mixture involving papaverine. They are not acidic

I have an upcoming appointment with Dr. Levine, and his staff said he requires the ultrasound to be done with induced erection. These stories of Trimix causing Peyronie's are making me concerned about getting this done (assuming that is the drug that is used). While I understand he is one of the best, I am still worried about the risk of any injection whatsoever. I would really hate to get more Peyronie's from just one injection for the purpose of evaluation.

-If my erections are currently painful, is this a bad idea to go through with having it done? I wonder if there is any way around having this done with Dr. Levine.

-Are there any precautions or post-procedure care steps I should consider to minimize the risk of Trimix leading to Peyronie's?

-How was your experience with the ultrasound where they used Trimix to induce an erection? Was there anything you wish you had known before going in?

I have Dr Levine as my physician and everything went ok. I believe you are letting anxiety take control over you. Trimix injections work fine for the vast majority of men. You are just getting a very small injection with a 31guage insulin needle. I felt basically nothing. Then to bring down your erection you get the antidote the same way.
One thing I would highly recommend is for you to bring with yourself a list of questions for him and then write down what he tells you. He is very knowledgeable and will tell you a lot. Don't be nervous!

Mikel7, did you have any bruising or inflammation happen at the site of injection post procedure? Naturally, I am nervous about it considering how easily I have ended up with Peyronie's plaques from my history.

Also, does anyone know if it is important to discontinue medications days beforehand? Like pentox, meloxicam, and cialis?

I had a very small discoloration not really a bruise. It looked like an ingrown hair follicle. Things went fine. I believe peyronies from trimix injections is from continued poking over and over etc....
