Hi. New here! Been looking around for a while, i struggle with ED and i need to take some form of Cialis or Viagra before sex. Not thinking about price:

- whats SAFER and the one which is least likely to cause Priapism between Tadalafil 2.5mg V Store bought Viagra like Sildenafil 25-50mg?

- If i was to take Tadalafil or Sildenafil before sleeping, how would i know if i'm not having priapism while sleeping? Isn't that risky?

- How common even is having Priapism from these things?

I cannot say for sure but if you have ED I think the chances of priapism is quite small.  Unlike injections that cause an erection even without sexual stimulation, oral PDE5 inhibitors  require sexual stimulation so in the absence of that an erection is very likely to subside.  I also think that all of those medications would be equal in likelihood of priapism.

Just to be clear, I have been on this forum for 16 years.  I do not recall anyone having priapism from an oral PDE5 Inhibitor.

I was just thinking..

-You said they are all equally at risk of giving priapism.. Is there anything related to the dose? Like if i took a 10mg Viagra compared to a 50mg would there be less risk?

-OR is Priapism kind of just something you get or you don't get? E.g Somebody who will get one will just get them most of the time from the drug BUT somebody who's not prone to getting one could take it every night for years and there's not gonna be like an odd occasion where he could just get it? What i worry is say now i start taking Cialis 2.5mg every night, I don't get priapism in the first month (Great i don't get priapism) then carry on taking it for another year or whatever, could i randomly get priapism randomly some time?

Thanks Hawk!

Pfract

i second hawk on this and i go with cialis 5mg myself. It also increases it's potency with a glass of wine or two. Risk is small, but if you want to be on the safe side, buy a box of "sudafed" nasal descongestant to have with you and have fun.

Pfact did not fully explain but sudafed is a vascular constrictor where the oral drugs are vascular dilators.  You seem way too concerned but to pay it overly safe, start with a small dose.  Have Sudafed.  If you go more than 2 hours with an erection stop mental and physical stimulation.  It will go down.  If it doesn't take a couple Sudafed.  Chew them up and drink a class of water.

You will be fine.

Trimix is what caused me Paraprism, I was hard over 3 hours with excrutiating pain, I injected myself an antidote that I don't remember the name, two days later my penis was bent to the left. I wish I never injected that poison. About Cialis or Viagra, I'm been taking them for years and I never had any problem, they are very safe
