6 months after getting Shockwave therapy
« on: August 05, 2020, 07:47:41 AM »

So I did SW which is intended only for Erectile Dysfunction problems and after six months my overall conclusion is it’s helpful. It’s not a miracle cure and I was warned about it. I saw a slight improvement and if it’s not enough I bet it’s because my Erectile Dysfunction was severe.

Thats really nice to hear Man! I really hope that you can find a way to recover your erection quality. In a scale out of 10, hows your EQ now? Are you going to continue SW?

I don’t know if a second cycle would make any sense, my actual condition is still bad as I have multiple spontaneous erections but just at 50-60% of maximum stretching. So I Still have to squeeze my base to get closer to full erections.

Before the treatment I ended up flaccid anytime I tried, now I don’t. I think it might be more helpful for people suffering from mild Erectile Dysfunction.

Every bit helps.  Now with the aid of a PDE5 inhibitor or a cockring you might be good to go.

I see. But are you going to explore other possibilities to decrease Erectile Dysfunction? Maybe blood flow improvement habits (like kegels, angion method, good diet, exercises, pelvic floor exercises, penis pump, others)? I dont know much about improving EQ, or prevent Erectile Dysfunction, but is nice to see you finding a way out of your Erectile Dysfunction, even if its still little improvement.

I also think that is nice to start a "culture" among members that want to go for surgery. Since Erectile Dysfunction is a possible outcome, maybe it would be good to these members to start to improve EQ already.

@ peyron I paid 120 euros x 6 times..kind of affordable.

@ soxora I still have a healthy life and I’m on balanced diet, I’m sporty. I have a penis pump and I’m gonna start it the coming days. I dont know if pelvic exercises might help cause as far as I know when you are in need for them your body gives you signals and I have no one.
I’m gonna try again pills lets see if with the improvement I had it will be any different.

Anyway I spoke with dr. Eid and he’s great. Unfortunately I have to take into consideration my pain/sensitivity issues around that big stitch turned into a kind of plaque (pretty clear it has entangled some nerves)....otherwise I would go for an implant asap.

Jack, i'm really happy that it helped. Sorry if i ask but.. Where did you pay just 120 euros for all the six times? Or did you mean 120x6= 720 euros in total?

I'm from Rome, can you please write to me a PM and tell me more about your experience? Thank you really much..

50mg viagra nightly for 6-12 months showed improvement in erections in one study of Erectile Dysfunction.  Low dose cialis may do the same and help w erections during the day as well.

Jack dont go through implant. The idea of destroying ur erection chambers to put new artificial ones does not sound gd. If u gna do implant now then how many surgeries r u gna have in the future?

Implant should be last last option. I might go for implant at some point in life, but certainly not in my 20s and 30s

Jack,  I am not sure of your age but the biggest myth in the Erectile Dysfunction world is that a 3 piece inflatable implant by a great surgeon is the last option.  I have been through every option.  read my journal of for that matter ANY journal of ANY man here with an implant.  Everyone of them will tell you they wish to hell they had done it sooner.  I wasted well over a dozen years and lost almost 2" farting around with other means and using traction.  When I think of the fortune I spent on Viagra, VED's, Traction devices, other supplements and the untold weeks of annoyance wearing a traction device, and the years of planning sex around meals, pills, injections, VED's.   I WAS A FOOL.  If my implant lasted only a year I would have considered it a wise decision and if it failed tomorrow I would be on the phone setting up the quickest appointment I could talk Dr. Eid or Dr. Kramer into.

I like my penis now as much as when I was 18 years old and I have always had a very high sex drive with often more than one orgasm with one continuous erection.

Three weeks to the day after surgery, even being sore and being very careful, my wife and I were just going to see if it would work and not really have sex.  We both had orgasms, could change positions without losing erection and knew this was the best decision we ever could have made.  It has only gotten better and I gained back an inch of lost length.   There is no one like Dr. Eid in my book.

I encourage you to read some of the material in the sticky posts at the top of the Implant Board and some Implant Journals.  You can find everything in the Sticky Index at the top of the Implant Board.

PS: I was awake during my surgery and posted on the forum from the Operating Room.  I rode home 4 hours immediately after surgery but the recovery was no picnic.

Hawk thanks indeed for the words, I’ll check some stories out.

@kusher I know what you mean but I turned 30 and I have never had intercourse. I think it’s got too much don’t you think?

Jack,

To some extent I am repeating myself but in all due respect Kusher's remarks are borne out of ignorance.  I know because running this forum and being considered a resident expert on all things Peyronies Disease and Erectile Dysfunction I foolishly delayed an implant for well over a decade after I should have gotten one.  My single biggest fears were that I would lose even more length and it would not feel normal to my wife and I.  I gained length and I guarantee you once I learned the subtle operation of the implant that I could have a spontaneous 1-night stand and they would never know.

I am not bragging but simply stating facts here.  No man was more capable than me between the ages of 16 and 52.  I was considerably larger than average and I have had up to 5 orgasms with one continuous erection and 2 orgasms were more common than one.  I know what good creative sex is and what I have now is as good as what I had for the first 52 years of my life except that if I wanted to keep it a secret, a woman involved in serious playing with my testicles (which was not usually my thing) would feel the pump in there.  Even though I am married and monogamous I have practiced subtlety pumping up and it is relatively easy even in plain view on a bed much less if you run to the bathroom first.

It is true that at your age you might need a couple replacements but so what.  If you have to have a few outpatient surgeries with a 3 week recovery every 2-12 years big deal if you can have great intercourse.  It is a very small price to pay in my book and who knows what might change in 20-30 years.  Who knows if they will be alive in 30 years.

If I could only have 5 years of sex, when would I rather have it?  When I was 30 or when I was 60.  Almost any man would say 30.  Have a life now and worry about 30 years from now when and if you get there and when you see and weigh the options available at that point.
