Hi everyone,

I'm 29 and just went on my first date in 2020 after recognizing my condition. It sucked. It finally kicked in that I may never be able to have a normal sex life again. Brings tears to my eyes.

Wondering what some other people out there have done? I'm luckily taking the next year off from work to focus on fixing my health: penile, body, and mental. I figure this is about as important as it gets in life. Any advice?
My plan:

-Lay off masturbating: try "nofap" for as long as I can (10 days? 20 days?)
-PAV pills
-Manual stretching--  unfortunately restorex doesn't work. 5-10 minutes a day?
-Exercise, exercise, exercise
-Better dieting--- keto seems difficult. Any other ideas for diets?
-ESWT/Phoenix? Anyone here have the phoenix? Seems promising.

Don't know what I'd do without this forum. Thanks fellas

First check out the the survival guide and be sure to take objective baseline measurements ASAP.  https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057

Richard, if you thoroughly read the study guide you would know that the likelihood you will never have a healthy sex life is VERY SMALL.

There of few aspects of Peyronies Disease and Erectile Dysfunction that cannot be fixed with a 45 minute out-patient surgery of an implant and there are an assortment of things you can try prior to taking that step.

I would caution that drinking has seldom been known to improve any man's sexual abilities or performance.

If you can't add traction, consider VED and low dose nightly generic cialis (2.5-5 mg). All to remodel plaque into healthy tissue.

Thanks everyone.  I saw Dr. Eid today, I have quite  a peculiar case.  Going in for the ultrasound/erection test in a couple weeks (which I've done with another doctor that showed nothing).

Going all in on the treatments that's in the intro-guide. Will keep people updated!

No keto means no success from my perspective. Drinking is fine if you choose low carb alochol and your normal diet consists of fasting and keto.

TonySa

Keto is great for the anti-inflammatory effect.  But, certainly not feasible for everyone and there are additional ways to decrease inflammation.

Hey Richard. How's the progress? It's seems like you have a mild form of Peyronie's hi become you say you can't have a sex life
34 yrs Old, Healthy very active
Possibly injured penis or took too much Cialis
Symptoms starting January-February 2021
First dent seen April 4, 2021, painful erections

RichardWilson99

Hey kb24,

I was progressing really well from June 2020-February 2021: using VED, coq10, l-citruine, l-argnine (forgive me if I misspelled these, please check survival guide).  I went from not having erections, to getting night-time erections and even day times erections (70-80%), glans engorgement again, length.  It took a while but I was progressing. Still wasn't stable enough where I would try any position besides doggy or missionary. Still had curvature, pain, and shortening.

However I had a set-back where I was masturbating basically all day and added a new dent and somewhat reversed all my progress :/. But VED and traction + exercise and daily cialis etc. with good sex habits will progress you as much as possible.

by the way--I absolutely do not have a mild form of peyronies, I probably have one of the worst. I can only get an erection if I take like 100mg of cialis, and even that isn't a great erection--so not sure why you'd say that.

I have an appointment with Dr. Karpman  on June 17th to discuss an implant. I'm tired of taking cialis to get an erection that is barely good enough for sex. My heels, back, shoulders ache from cialis and I can't take it anymore. I saw Dr.  Eid back in september 2020 but I moved. I may end up getting the surgery with Dr. Eid just because he's the best. But unfortunately, I'm getting an implant.

I'm still holding out hope, and I bet if I felt comfortable waiting 2+ years and had really good sex habits and patience, I could maybe get by with using viagra.  But this PED5 make my body ache and I can't play sports, I keep injuring my back because of it 100%. I love having sex and taking 100mg of clalis just to cum once just won't work.

I screwed up masturbating all day. I ironically am able to cum alot, just the vessel that transports it is f**ked up LOL.  What a conundrum. I need to update my tag-line.  70%080% firmness is not happenign anymore.  Its like 25%. I wouldn't even be in the starting lineup in baseball with those numbers!

All you can do is move forward and try to laugh in my opinion. Because it is a very depressing thing.  Just be happy that we do have something such as an implant, or cialis, or VED, triminx etc. to get us by.  We're lucky if you think about it.

@richardwilson99:

I see you mentioned that you have seen Dr. Eid in person. I am curious what he said about your condition?
Did he diagnose you with Peyronie's Disease? Was he able to see plaques on the ultrasound? Did he diagnose you with venous leak or arterial insufficiency via ultrasound?
26 years old. 20 degree upward curve with slight clockwise twist. Symptoms onset Dec 20.
Dr. Levine says it's not Peyronie's Disease but a slow healing wound. Saw him Mar 21 and May 21.
Traction (PMP) and supplements per Dr. Levine's recommendation.

No plaques in ultrasound :/. But things may have changed now.  I think my deformity is more of damage to the tunica rather than a plaque.  I did the exam under a different urologist not Eid back in february of 2020.  So I'll have to re-do the process with Karpman.  I left from NYC before I had the chance to do the exam with Eid--wasn't worth the 1000$ since I was leaving the area. Figured I'd wait and progress (as he suggested to wait) and see where I was at a yearish later.
