Recurrence of symptoms
« on: July 24, 2020, 02:29:08 PM »

Hi everyone. I was on this forum a few years back. I had a noticeable indentation on the lower left part of my shaft that caused pain and some narrowing. The pain had subsided however with no real issues. About a month back, I had been masturbating several times per day and had a recurrence of pain to the area. I called my uro who re-prescribed pentox, but I cannot get an appointment until mid-September. Along with that, I have been taking Arginine and CoQ10. The thing that is bothering me is that while erections are straight for the most part, when I get fully hard and flex it, it leans to the left, the side with the injury.  Does this sound like it could be the start of a curve? Would pentox be able to stop this progression or should I be trying traction? Traction really scares me because I have read about people making it worse.
Thanks for any advice

I used very strong traction and it helped but mostly that was in the stable phase of Peyronies Disease.  I would use it and just be gentle and monitor results.  If you are not worried about masturbating multiple ties a day I don't think you should be concerned with a little traction.  If it were my I would apply light traction but a lot of hours of it so that ir will be stretched during any plaque development.  Logic says that would be better than scar formation in a contracted state.

It sounds like Peyronies Disease and there is no way to know how far the scar/plaque formation will run or in what direction so no one predict if this is the beginning of a bend or the degree of bend.

Pentox has very mixed results at best.  It didn't do anything for me other than really flaring up my prostate for whatever reason.

Do you think using a VED could be effective even if dealing with a curve?

I think it depends on how recent the injury is. If it's recent applying very light traction forward so that the wound heals the scar tissue is not all messed up.

As the scar starts to form, and it depends on how long you've been seeing this flexing phenomenon, you can start applying harder counter traction.

The harder counter traction is to stretch out the scar, not necessarily stretch out healthy tissue. Always start light.
If you experience any sort of pain, then stop and wait a couple of weeks. You don't want to create new wounds, you want to start to remodel the scar as early as possible before it hardens too much. Just gotta be smart and gentle.

RestoreX recommends doing traction as soon as possible, and it's able to do curve counter traction.

If you use VED i'd recommend just getting the somarerect because it pulls straight, but i would never recommend to pump close to 100%. Follow the protocol and i'd say pump to at most 50-60%. The idea is to remodel scar and/or prevent it from forming all messed up, not enlarge the penis.

I think it's tricky if you have Erectile Dysfunction, as either traction or VED could make these things worse. You might want to just keep those erections and try not to make things worse.

For medication, i think you should be taking low dose daily cialis (5mg) and pentox (400mg 3x/day). L-Citruline (3000MG/day) and Coq10 (300mg/day).

This is just from my experience. Good luck.

If I was using a VED to correct a curve I would prefer the Agusta Medical 3 cylinder VED.  Our member "Old Man" is the resident expert on all things from protocol to purchasing.

Thanks everyone for your responses. My uro suggested the restorex, so I believe I will go with that. I just have a few questions about using the device before I buy it. Should only the glans be put into the clamp? Forcing down on shaft tissue seems like it could cause injury. What happens if you get an erection while using the device? This has always been a worry of mine. Finally, can the clamp be placed on the sides of the glans? My injury is on the left side, so it would have to bend to the right to stretch it. Thanks

Yes, just the glans is clamped.  When rotating against the curve it may be placed on the sides of the glans.  Great device, I’d go for it!

1) If you start getting an erection in device, immediately stop.  I was having issues with that getting semi's and ended up injuring myself and now have a nice 60 degree up curve, when it just used to go left 30...  You live, you learn.
2) I never seen how to do a lateral bend with the documentation, dorsal is pretty straight forward, but not lateral.  I only used it length wise first.

It has a quick release if you start getting erect.
