Hi

I have had peyronies symptoms for approx 6 weeks and have an app with a uroligist in 3 weeks. I have had deformity, pain and narrowing, but no curve on erection. My erections are also thinner.

Is there any real risk to me starting VED now provided I am careful? Would you recommend it?

I see no risks as long as you don't overdo it - be sure to warm up first, with actual hot towels or hot showers, something, just so you're not stretching "cold" tissues (just like working out).  Don't pump with too much pressure or for too long.  Lots of good pumping protocols here, just search.  Let me know if you need more specifics.

Agreed, but also focus on your diet. Additionally you want to be on pentox and cialis at the least.
I recommend a 3 cylinder device, get it asap and start with the protocol outlined here.
Use VED to maintain girth, but i also recommend adding a traction device (RestoreX) asap to maintain length.

Remember to be very light with traction, specially if you mostly have healthy tissue.
Also be very light with the VED. The point of both is to remodel the scars you have and to make sure new scars don't form in a contracted state.

Stop if you feel any sharp pain or tingling and wait two weeks before trying again.

Good luck.
Injury in April 2020. Onset of ED.
Started RestoreX and VED 2 months after injury.
Taking 10mg daily cialis, pentox, coq10, vit-e.
Traction (+1 inch)/VED/PGE-1/DMSO+X

I tried VED. About 8 weeks after the onset. It didn't help, but didn't make matters worse. I would advice using 'old mans' protocol. He's well researched. For me, in the end. Traction has shown good results. I'm using a device now.

Go with whatever works for you.

As long as your not in pain. VED would not do you any harm. In my experience. In fact, it advisable to start treatment as soon as symptoms begin and you not in pain.  Just don't pump to 100% (of your normal  erection size). Go slow and always gently.
Latest routine. Started l-lysine 3mg daily, l-proline 5mg daily. Increased vit c intake. Accompanied with almost daily vacuum therapy. Pumping to 100% Exercise caution! Made good progress. L arginine supplements and prescribed potaba are helping.

I whole heartidly agree with Mr Man, the Old Man VED protocol is where it's at.   It was the ONLY treatment that improved the feeling and began healing/recovering my busted dick.  Follow it to a T, go slow and be consistent.  Traction is also good, but if you are in pain I would advise against it based on personal experience.  If not in pain, and starting traction, start sloooowwwww, and work your way up from there.  I've read alot of posts on this forum, and the most valuable ones are about taking it slowly as to avoid further injury and set backs.

Can anyone provide a link to the Old Man VED protocol? I've looked but see several, and none specifically labeled as that...

Thank you.  I found that one but didn't see why it would be called "Old Man's" protocol since his name wasn't on it anywhere.  Thanks for finding it for me.
