Could this be Peyronies?

Hi,

I am looking for some help and expert opinions.

Does this sound like Peyronies?

I have swelling on the left side and a I can feel a small rubbery bumps or inflammation.  As you can see, the swelling on the left is pushing the head right, making it look crooked.

With Peyroniess, the bend should be toward the side of the inflammation/small bump though, correct? So if it is Peronie's, shouldn't mine be bent to the left side because the left side is where I can feel the inflammation and rubbery bumps (where arrow is pointing).

Symptoms

- No Erectile Dysfunction.

- Painful nocturnal/morning erections on the left side, feels very tight and rigid.

- Swelling on left side with palpable rubbery bump if you really dig and feel along the side of the shaft.

- When flaccid, left side feels firmer than right 3/4 ways down to the shaft.

- When flaccid, swelling on left is noticeable but more pronounced once erect.

- Transient pain in left testicle (not sure if related).

I am going to call my GP tomorrow and make an appointment to see a Urologist, but here in Canada, that could take months to get in and this is painful.  Any advice???

Thanks to all expert or general/casual opinions.

It does look like Peyronie's. Similar to what i have. I would suggest starting manual traction and start Old Man's VED protocol. You'll want to start to correct it as soon as possible.

Don't over do it though. Start slow. Once you see your uro you can start on Pentox and low dose daily Cialis.

Good luck.
Injury in April 2020. Onset of ED.
Started RestoreX and VED 2 months after injury.
Taking 10mg daily cialis, pentox, coq10, vit-e.
Traction (+1 inch)/VED/PGE-1/DMSO+X

Thanks for your response.  My only question is if the inflammation and pain/bump/plaque is on the left, shouldn't it bend left according to Peyronie disease (bends toward the side the plaque and scar tissue is on).  Mine bends the opposite way, to the right?

As illustrated here, the side the plaque is on is the side the bend goes toward.  But mine is bending or pushing to the opposite side, the right, even though the rubbery bump/pain/inflammation is on the left. ???

Also, when it is flaccid, there is very obvious tissue swelling on the left (bulges out), compared to the right but again, the head and shaft push to the right not the left where the swelling and rubbery bump is.  Is tissue swelling and inflammation common in a flaccid state on the opposite side of the curve with Peyronie disease?

I think what you're feeling is a nodule and not the actual Peyronie's scar itsef. Peyronie's scar is due to the inflammation which causes the penis to lay down the scar tissue.

In my experience the scar is not in the same place as the nodule. The nodule will not not cause deformity but will harden over time.

You want to combat the Peyronie's scar without aggravating the nodule. In your case if your nodule feels stable you can probably do straight out light manual traction to break up the scar and avoid it settling in a deformed state.

However, if you're not on Pentox or Cialis it might not make sense to do traction until you get on them. Peyronie's is complicated and different in every man. If you cause more trauma it might make things worse.

Thanks again.

So you are saying that the scar and fibrotic tissue is on the right but I cannot feel it?

And the nodule/inflammation is on the left which I can feel?

Because my D is bending right, but I have no pain, hard rubbery tissue, inflammation on the right side, it is all on the left with a small nodule.

Sorry, I am just trying to understand because this is what I keep reading below. ???

QuotePeyronies Disease
Peyronie's disease is a disorder in which the penis bends or curves because of fibrotic scar, or plaque, that has formed within the penis. Depending on where the plaque is located, the penis will bend up, down, or to the side that the fibrotic scar, or plaque is on.

Is there anything I can start with supplement wise at least?  Any recommendations or areas you can point me in?  Thanks again!

It may not necessarily be directly on the other side. But certainly in a way that's causing the curve. Check out the "Progression" subsection of this forum to see how things progress for other people.

For example,
https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,8797.0.html

I can only talk from my experience, but the nodules i have are not in the opposite side of the curve(s). The scars are. The scars are what really matter in terms of deformation of the penis.

The only way i felt the actual scar was stretching my penis (while flaccid) but be very careful. For me i had the base of my penis while stretching the top gently when i finally felt it. Before that i had the exact same question.

One thing that i still don't understand is what causes the loss of girth. The nodules or the scar. Be very careful with what you do. You do not want to damage your erection quality. Overly using traction made me lose significant quality and i'd rather have a slightly crooked dick than soft erections.

I'd say the first thing you want to do is switch to a low carb/diabetes/anti-inflammatory first of all. Otherwise the inflammation will not go away. Your main priority should be to get rid of the inflammation.

You can try adding vitamin-e and Coq10. But Vitamin-e i think doesn't do anything. Coq10 is more apt for early chronic phase based on studies.

You can also start to get a vacuum device.

Good luck.

I'm not shy so here's a picture of how mine looks. Notice how i have two nodules on the right side but my penis bends upwards and to the left. I have no nodule on the top which would cause the upward bend.

When you see your uro make sure to ask for an ultra sound and ask where exactly things are. Also check your testosterone and DHT levels if you can, just gives you a good baseline.

I would say beside the diet, VED, and light traction try to relax and don't obsess over it. Particularly because it doesn't look that bad. Trust me obsessing over it only makes things worse.
