I'm still in the accute phase and I have pain when flaccid less so when erect but when I masturbate it hurts and aches a lot at the spot where the plaque is. So should I stop masturbating? Problem is I have no morning or nighttime erection and so there might be further damage by lack of blood flow. What would be the best thing to do?

I know that mastutbation most likely caused my peyronies, excessive mastutbation often 4 times in a row without really being into it. Half a year later and I have developed peyronies

I also have a very high sex drive so cutting it down to like 2 times a WEEK is really hard for me to do. But maybe then I'd get those morning erection back

If in acute stage or inflammed stop any outside impact that creates any more inflammation.
You wouldn't run or jump with broken feet, right?

Of course it's highly individual, with a lot of lube and no hard grip it's possible, surely..

Erections and blood flow are good though and are possible without masturbation. A relaxed pelvic floor is very important to ensure good blood flow. Often hard masturbation or bad habits will mess with the pelvic floor..
Like wanking in the same position, many young people have issues since they wank infront of pc to pornhb. I believe the increase of "Hard Flaccid" issue since about 10+ years is due to guys doing that daily sometimes multiple times which is unhealthy and 'wrong' way to use the penis.

Hi Melting,

What do you suggest? I have the same issue as peter. Unreal sex drive that has taken a hit due to peyronies.  Is VED the way to go to get an erection?

I basically called it quits about 4 weeks ago now.  Sex is a no go with the 60 degree upbend just short of the head, and masturbation just got too painful and awkward due to my plaque.  I still pump daily with VED, and started manual traction again, to lead back up to traction with RestoreX.   Since I quit, it is brutal not doing anything, but it is getting easier, and avoiding the residual urethral and penile inflammation/pain afterwards is all well worth it.

And what can you do then???

Exactly, as others have posted, always do something as long as its reasonable and safe as can be.  I can say with certainty that my curvature and narrowing has not worsened over the last 7 weeks since starting VED protocol and is the first positive news / sign that I've had yet.
