HeyThereYou

Sorry last post here for a while..

This is my history/symptoms post: https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,13620.0.html

Like stated in previous post i have been to two urologists, first had a 'injury' 7 years ago, never developed any plaques or any bad bend to this day, just a slight curvature that has never effected anything with pain. Urologists always said nothing, not peyronies etc..

So like i've said i have felt slightly more pain recently when erect and maybe more of a bend when semi erect etc..in the last month since edging/being more stressed etc.

Based on my history this could very well be all down to a case of messed up pelvic floor/hard flacid from looking at my history post and also commented on by @tonysa and @melting and also everyone all over the Pelvic floor dysfunction PE gym forums...

QUESTIONS:

but i'm here to ask JUST IN CASE, if i did have some form of peyronies right now, what should one do to stop progression that is healthy and isn't so extreme? (I'm not going to be able to get any sort of prescription because they don't believe it's anything, i can't even see a urologist or anything at the moment with all this covid stuff).. What are the most helpful/safest things that one can do that have no risk and only reward in terms of improving the penis?

Should i be resting the penis and not masturbating (And avoiding anything that will cause an erection?) If so for how long? (I have no problem with not masturbating etc, but i always worry about the notion of 'if you dont use it you lose', is that true?)

(Theres just SO much info on this forum and this is my first gig here so i'm overloaded at the moment)

There's a whole bunch to read here on everything you asked but highlights (if I weren't sure of a peyronie's diagnosis but wanted to ensure better dick health and slowing progression of anything) would be:

Keto diet or similar low carb diet and maybe intermittent fasting

Cardio, weights and squats. Look up reverse kegels.

Possibly a physiotherapist to look for any pelvic floor issues

Think about doing some (very slow at first) traction or VED. I would recommend trying hand traction first. Don't overdo anything.

Daily cialis. You don't need a doc to get this. Can buy peptides online.

Pentox, arginine and a number of other supps. But anything that promotes bloodflow like pycogenol, etc.

Heat therapy (look up rice sock)

As far as masturbating goes advice is all over the place but in general I would say masturbate with lube. Don't prolong it more than necessary. Don't use deathgrip ever. Don't do it every day.

Erections are healthy. Morning wood is good. Don't avoid natural erections.

"What are the most helpful/safest things that one can do that have no risk and only reward in terms of improving the penis?"
I believe ( Not sure) that there's no such thing such as 0 risk and only rewards. There are people who do something and get better,,,and people who do the same thing and get worse. Everything has "risks" to it but you should try to try some penile stretching ( or traction - a traction device if you can afford one) but also a VED.
I am a newbie to all of this but all i have done up to this moment was to take l-arginine and l-carnitine which help with the blood flow... I also did some light light penile stretches ( NEVER WHILE YOUR PENIS IS ERECT. NEVER. ONLY STRETCH WHEN YOU ARE FLACCID AND DO NOT DO IT HARD. ) It seems to have helped me a little but I have also developed some new bumps / also having some new veins / but so far no curvature...Hoping badly that nothing happens cause I have already lost some girth and some length. Pretty sure that if you had it for 7 years you should be safe unless you have hurt yourself once again?
I could not cut out masturbation completely...but I would if I Could and if you can do it( or limit it to once a week) - Erections are really good on the other hand as you need blood to travel along your penis . Also there's no thing such asi "if you dont use it you lose" so you can do it you want to.
Sadly this disease is all different for everyone so I wish I knew how to help you brother. I'm 18 and this disease just sucks... My fear is that it might get worse someday. Take care of yourself and do what feels the best for your penis never force anything on it. Have a wonderful day

NVM - there is something that has like no risk and is the most rewarding and that is the heat therapy... just can't say how much this has helped me ... I'm taking hot baths daily now. Helps the penile health a LOT
Age: 18
First symptoms age :16
Curve:aproximately 30 degrees to the left 10 upwards.
Recently hurt myself and i am scared that the curves above and my symptoms will get worse.
Currently on l-arginine , alc l-carnitine and vitamin E.

Samsung,

I go for my 3rd round of Xiaflex soon and plan on asking for Cialis.  I thought I needed a prescription, where are you able to get it online?  Is it safe? FDA approved.

Thanks!

You need a script for the real deal but ask TonySA for the url for peptides. I think is Blue Sky peptides? He said was reliable and was basically same thing. And cialis is generic now so I'm guessing you could order from some Canadian pharmacies?

Good luck with rd. 3. How is it going?

Thanks @samung .. Yeah honestly docs don't want to know at all i really cant get a urologists appointment...

I will look into all this, what are some good resources for Hand Traction? Do people ever get negatives from this?

Thanks so much for your input mate!

melting

Relaxed, no stress(inflamation), enough sleep, eating healthy and "healthy blood"(movement/air) combined with good bloodflow to the penis.
Obviously hard masturbation or bendy sex could be problematic. But normal erections should be fine.

Re masturbation, this is a bit of a weird post. I was reading about the viberect ($300usd) and thought man that costs a hell of a lot for what it is. Went to aliexpress and bought something called a 10 function dual mini bullet (vibrator type thing). Does pretty much the same job for $6USD. So on the rare occasions that I need to masturbate (wife is away etc) that is what I use. It is far less impact on the penis and I never feel sore afterwards, which I always did if I used my hand.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

The vibration could potentially even help. Healthy tissue has no problem with it but harder stuff like calcified plaques don't like vibration(less flexible)

Melting, your theories are very interesting but is there any evidence vibrations are detrimental to plaque?

In my short experience, it's all about reducing inflammation in the first couple of months.

So, if your doctor prescribes NSAID medication - take it
Keto diet
VERY light manual traction, as in just a couple of minutes don't hold just to let it breathe a little bit. That's it, it's better to wait for inflammation to be over before doing VED and traction device IMO.

There's a diagram of the process here: https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/8956/dd38d946a89769b632a91033df6770c359ac.pdf?_ga=2.224878936.318827643.1591929448-877337924.1591929448

You will notice inflamed parts of your penis, it'll be at the site that's causing curve(s)
For me what made it obvious was the foreskin was tighter at the inflammation site.

At the sites of future scar you will notice heat, redness, and swelling followed by pain: https://youtu.be/nZ34N6Eibd8?t=521

Focusing on stopping inflammation is the name of the game at the start. I believe once the inflammation recedes and the body starts to put down myofibroblast is when VED and traction start to make sense.

Be careful with VED if you have a history of priapism, mandor's disease, or vascular/vein issues. I would advise against VED if you do.

For the inflammation phase keto diet is important. See the youtube video on the science behind diet and inflammation.

Erections are good, but IMO masturbation and sex will cause more inflammation. That'll delay the progression and increase the size of the scar.
Injury in April 2020. Onset of ED.
Started RestoreX and VED 2 months after injury.
Taking 10mg daily cialis, pentox, coq10, vit-e.
Traction (+1 inch)/VED/PGE-1/DMSO+X

TonySa

Luis, I think it's great you qualified several of your statements w IMO.
Two areas of differences between studies and your opinion are:
1) Plenty of medical studies show traction and VED are helpful early on—of course back off if any pain.  2) Also, no research has found masturbation or sex to be harmful to Peyronie's unless done roughly—again back off if any pain.

Samsung, thanks for the info.  My doc prescribed me Cialis.  I just posted in the Xiaflex thread with an update - having severe pain.
