Guys, wondering if it's normal to feel a nerve under the skin? Line two thin and hard strands that run from the base on top of the penis? I think they're on each side, the dorsal nerves? Is it normal for them to be hard like a hard thin guitar string?

I rub the surface with my thumb having a bit of pressure form side to side and then I can feel it. I have to do it carefully and then I can feel the lines and trace them.

Are nerves in general tough and hard?

Good question because I asked Dr. Eid basically the same thing. He said there are portions of the penis that feel harder than others. I did not believe him because at no time in the past did I ever recall feeling anything hard in mine. But then again during the previous 43 years of my life I never obsessively palpated every inch of my penis many times per day to check for differences. I feel lots of things in different places in my penis besides the main plaque and just think they are "plaque."

Hey Dipstick, I have this too (for months now). How's yours? Has it resolved? Did you find out what it was? If it resolved, what did you do to resolve it? It feels hard and stringy and it's not quite symmetrical with the direction the dorsal nerve on the other side is shaped.
