I am talking about length and potential girth gain and also reduction of plaque size and curvature. where they permanent after you stopped using the device? I am thinking about doing traction because I have a deep dent that is decreasing my penile width by quite a bit but I also want to gain length because I suffer from short penis. I can see no studies that report one whether the gains have been permanent or not and I have seen contradictory reports online to I am very interested in this

would be very much appreciated

You are going to get people who say they are permanent and people who say they are not permanent.

There's always a temporary flexibility and stretch increase you carry around. Elastic deformation!
This expansion will in most cases revert back to your initial size, like a rubber band.

But if you keep the traction and expansion going you can reach PLASTIC deformation stage which can be permanent.

As that pertains to each fiber individually it's possible that stopping traction will make you loose some "gains" and keep some.
I used traction for many months sometimes 16 hours a day and I kept a lot of the gains.

Pretty hard to be motivated to do traction all day long and be 100% obsessed with penile health to the exclusion of all normal human activities with "can" be permanent. Just saying.

Most days I did 3-5 hours. But yeah,.. insane amount of time investment for something that probably happened within seconds.

Try Restorex - 1 hour a day.

I'm looking at purchasing it soon too. unfortunately it's also the most expensive.

Even then. Even at 1 hour a day. Even at 5 min. per day. If gains "can" be permanent, if there "might" be improvement, it is difficult to stay motivated.

I did traction for several months after my surgery. Got a little bit of length back. I was happy and my wife was happy so I stopped after several months of this. And yes the result is the same now 10 years later.

well personal anecdotes nice and well but obviously what is interesting are the studies that have been conducted. think about it, they did a study on traction to figure out whether it could be an alternative to surgery(which of course is permanent). so if traction would not be, then obviously this entire study would be a hack. my guess is if people in these studies all observed it getting bad again, surely they would have noted that? there is only one study I found that did a follow up after 6 months and they suggested, gains remained. although hat was hell of a small sample size

can you elaborate, you lost the length due to shortening of the penis during surgery right? how much of the length did you get back and have you confirmed this with an actual measurement?

can you elaborate a bit? which device did you use, how many hours on average did you use it, did you gain length and reduction of curvature? and how much did you gain(how much of it was permanent)? thanks

Standard noose type extender, but used hairties and other wraps to make it work to fixate the glans to the headpiece.

I tried to use it everyday for at least 3+ hours. Started with some minutes getting used to longer times and how to wear it.
Never let it get cold. Ensure good circulation. If you can take it do it sometimes for a set(5min to 1 hours) intense enough to "challenge" the tissue towards "uncomfortable"(without injuring it). Play around with the stretch intensity. Also added sometimes heat with warm cloths.

If I had time and were home all day I sometimes used it up to 16 hours with short breaks. Some months.. total maybe a 9..
I also added bars/pencils below and above the penis to create fulcrums/hinges were the plaques and bends were, to counter them.
Placed horizontally between the vertical extender bars. I think the restore X has similar build in function.

It was part of my regime and for sure helped and was necessary. VED and transdermal applications(signature link) were part of it too. VED I added to the end of a day after extending. Transdermal apps before, during and after.

I had hourglass, twist and a slight bend and after some months of this I got normal erections back. I'm probably 3 cm bigger than before peyronies and thicker. Though I kept pumping and other penis exercises, like edging, squeezes, light jelqs(but some people injure themselves creating peyronies!!!) etc. to keep my penis healthy and strong(needs to be done smartly, if done wrong and underlying health issues you can easily injure again).

Melting - What kind of twist did you have? I also have a left and upwards twist from the base (Most prominent when semi erect)... The doctors are confused as to whether this is suspensory ligament damage on the right side causing a twist or peyronies.

For myself just knowing what it could be would relieve anxiety and also help me to tackle te problem at the base (pun intended). If its ligament damage i can opt for surgery to have it reattached. If it's fibrosis I can continue to stretch and VED without worry of further injuring the suspensory ligament.

I hope my post makes sense.

Melting - Thanks for coming back to the forum and helping us all out even though you have healed and improved. Guys like you give me motivation to continue therapy.

It was surely from a plaque inside the penis for me. It was like a screw/bolt with some bend. At least 3 plaques that created the situation.

From the base sure sounds like it might be the ligament. Could also be a tight PF on that side. But if it's very stable more probably a ligament issue. Of course it's also possible a plaque sits in the "hidden penis" which goes beyond the pubic bone..
Hard to say. Hell it could be all 3.. I sure had also a tight PF on one side which was apparent years after solving the twist.
Doppler and other imagining should help to diagnose..?

Also if ligament damage, if it's healed with scar tissue, then stretching etc. might still help.. Of course if your ligament is hanging on a string and you stretch it then probably not good. I always say look at anatomy diagrams on google, several, to make sense.

Thanks, still confusing how to tackle this but VED has been helping so I may continue with that and traction..

What did you find effective for your pelvic floor issues?

What did you find effective for your pelvic floor issues?

Use of balls(hard and soft) to roll between penis, perineum and all soft tissue in the area.
Stretching, yoga poses and other exercises. (lot's on the web to find about it)
And very important, gaining conscious control of my pelvic floor via Reverse Kegels, normal kegels(engage and release slowly) and staying in neutral/relaxed state.
