Yes, the usual treatment for Peyronie's apply to narrowing, loss of length and curves.  I'd start w pentox, low dose nightly pde5i and traction or VED.  See the survival guide on this forum.

right now I am on pde5i and pentox, I want to buy a traction device but not sure which one. I heard they are super expensive, I want one that can target penis length as well as its quite short

I'd get one with a suction cup for the glans rather than the noose type which can only be worn for short periods of time as it cuts off circulation.  Try the EDL40 (with strap) it's very inexpensive.

I was thinking about getting the restorex for hourglass. Would I just extend it outward (as for lengthening) or should i bend it the opposite side of indent as well?

Just extend I'd think...but maybe email Dr Trost to be sure.

You can email them ya, they answer very fast. A little warning go slowly with it and be careful, I had a mishap with it and pinched my shaft when i released the tensioner and it caused alot of aggravation, also the tension is quite intense so go easy. Wish i would have done more research before rushing to buy it. This was my case unfortunately, other ppl have success with it, just take ur time and do it right.

it's frustrating when you live in a country where nobody has really specialized in this area. I don't know what the F~@< im supposed to do, the main issue is not curvature for me which is actually not that severe, it is a big indentation/narrowing and I can literally see a 5mm broad and 2cm long band like a rubber band, a half circle around the shaft. that is where the indentation is. so when I do traction, how do I do it, do I bend in the opposite direction, do I pull forward, can traction actually make the deformity worse, so many questions and zero answers. the best German docs can do is prescribe potaba, they are absolutely useless.

ill get flamed for it but at least when you have cancer everyone cares about it and there is tons of treatment protocols and you don't just get dismissed right off the bat. with peyronies nobody F^@$!ng cares, you're not important and nobody takes it as serious as it is. I sometimes feel like it takes a portion of self harm so that any doctor will actually listen but even if they did, they'd still be completely incompetent

You mostly stretch straight outwards but you can apply a fulcrum/hinge opposite the plaque so the plaque gets most of the stretch. I did that maybe 10% of my total stretching time. (cause it slows blood flow you can't do it for a long time consecutively)

I met with the urologist today and have a similar problem...I have an indentation, but no plaque at the indentation. Bend is about 45% angle to the right.  Sex is still pretty good, but I wouldn't want the angle to get any sharper.

I have never had any pain. There is an area with plaque that is closer to the base of the penis, but it does not appear to be contributing to the bending. Doctor told me that I was not a good candidate for Xiaflex because of no plaque at the indentation. He thought traction would be OK if I was careful...he was concerned that a traction injury could cause the bend to get worse.

I was thinking about getting the Restorex, but a little concerned about bending too far. Perhaps just be less aggressive when the Restorex is adjusted to counteract the existing bend. Does this sound like a reasonable approach? Appreciate any feedback.

If you don't want it get worse I'd def start traction.  Consider adding pentox and low dose nightly generic cialis.

Hello buddy,

Try not to get too frustrated.

Sorry to read your symptoms. They are bad. You have my sympathy.

I have an indentation. It's not as bad as yours. I'v been using traction for about 6 weeks. At its best it improved matters. 2 lump reduced from pea size to about the size
of a grain of rice.

As many have written here just take it easy. Try and be paitient. Perhaps you could try and explain how bad it is affecting your mood to a doctor? Maybe they will be more sympathetic?

In any case. Gentle traction seems to be the key. One day I overdid it. The grains of rice grew agian. Definitely take it slow.

Yes. A little. No where near previous size but am only 6 weeks into a 6 month traction course.

So I called the urologist to get a prescription for the RestoreX (so I could use my FSA) and was told by the nurse that he would NOT write a prescription because "the device doesn't work". Huh? There are many examples of success. Unfortunately with some doctors, it seems like if it's not their experience, then it doesn't exist or is wrong.

This is the same doctor who thought I was a candidate for Xiaflex until our second meeting when he realized that there was no plaque at the bend site.  This is just bizarre. Think I need to find another urologist for Peyronies (I really like my regular urologist).

Guess I'll go ahead and buy in spite of the extra $150 I'll have to pay. Any other way around this?

Go to Dr. Trost's website for his new clinic in Utah.  He is doing video consultations, even with guys from out of state (unless you happen to live in Utah, but if not, no big deal.)  He is the one who developed RestoreX while he as at Mayo.

His office will even run your insurance info to see if part of it will be covered.  It was an amazingly simple process for me, and I'm now waiting for my insurance to come back with how much (if any) they'll cover.

Have tried: X4Labs Extender; Phallosan; Jelqing; Manual Massage & Stretches; VED Pump; DMSO + Iodine, Vit E; Ultrasound.

Still have hour glassing, which I HATE

Not yet, but I have read others have. Usually if treatment begins soon after symptoms begin

Try not to get too caught up in what the best way is. Just buy a traction device. Get started. Then experiment. To find out what is more effective on you. This can actually be a lot of fun. Really. From your description I'd buy one that pulls forward, and has a suction cup. (Not the noose type). Maybe penismaster pro? Essentially, they all do the same thing. Stretch your dick. ... If you really want to know what works best. Why not do some manual traction? That will give you an idea what is effective. Don't worry about making matters worse. Its unlikely. As long as you be sensible..take it slow. Don't take risks. don't rush. Rest for a few days if there's pain. Etc. You'll be fine.

@Mr Man

It's so frustrating when you find out a treatment is only effective if done early on. I would have been game to try whatever after my injury, but made the mistake of trusting doctors and ended up wasting a lot of time.

I hate to think that I experienced progression that could have been prevented.

It CAN help for hour glassing as it remodels plaque.  hourglassing can be due to plaque around the Circumfance rather than just on one side.
