For those of you who have followed through with dramatic changes to diet i.e. keto, totally cutting out sugar, grains, etc. how long before you noticed any improvement of your peyronie's symptoms?
I'm talking even minor improvements (as long as you're sure there has been some improvement).

I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to stick to diet changes, because I'm just not sure if it's helping at all, and I get to thinking, "if it's not helping my Peyronies Disease, then I might as well enjoy chocolate, fruit, etc."

I'm wanting to set myself a goal of a certain amount of time with serious dieting so I can see if it's actually helping, and if I see a change, then I think it will be a lot easier to maintain if I know it's making even a little difference.

So, yeah. I'm just wondering how long it took people to see changes with diet. Thanks.

I've been keto over 1 1/2 years.  It's a great healthy lifestyle but I've only heard of it helping peyronies in conjunction w other therapies such as pentox, traction, VED, nightly low dose pde5i, etc.  and that's only anecdotal evidence, no research studies for Peyronie's.  Those for whom it helps seem to me to have a different form of Peyronie's...one that impacts penile health more than a permanent curve that takes months of treatment to treat.  Check out NeoV's posts and videos.

I've totally cut out all sugar, any refined carbs, pasta, bread, fruit and it did nothing for peyronie's. And I did it for over a year. I can't say for sure that cutting it helped or didn't help with pain. It seems like it did. And I think it does help blood flow and erections. But once you have a hard plaque in my opinion, you have it and no amount of diet is going to do anything much. But I could be wrong. I just don't see any evidence. And mentally not eating sugar I feel way worse.

Ok. I am doing pentox, pde5i, and VED. Trying to pick out a traction device.

So I'm hearing that I can't try it for a few months just to see if it works then.... :/

I've been keto for 9 months and early on the biggest difference was pain reduction since I cut out inflammatory foods.  I've had some improvement in curvature and plaque size, but it's difficult to associate it with keto.  On a daily basis I take supplements and do traction, VED from time to time, and I am approaching my third round of Xiaflex.

I think keto helps but I think of it like this.. I'm going to eat pizza, and ice cream, and have a coke again because I enjoy these simple pleasures.  In fact, I went over 8 months without breaking the diet at all and decided to enjoy a pizza from my favorite place.  The very next day I was back in Ketosis and will go as long as possible again.

Simple refined sugar is inflammatory to the brain and body in general. So limiting it wouldnt be a bad thing. Limit fruit. I'm currently reducing carbs bc I eat a lot of rice. I'm looking to get more in to nutritarian dieting which is mainly vegetarian with leav meats. I'm also starting intermittent fasting to see. Not eating after 8 or before 12. While taking sups. Lots of c. I'm currently doing daily cotton baths w vit C saturated water and then some iodine (1 drop a sesh twoce a day). So hopefully the fibroids will break up.

But sugar in general is a good health move to reduce. A lot of blue zone cultures dont eat much sugar and limit the amount they eat. Eating well balanced meals. You dont see many 102 year olds eating a lot of sugar foods.
