Doctor; Insurance; IPA

Hello fellow members,

I have a few question about IPAs. My insurance company and IPA have approved Xiaflex but the problem is the medicine needs to be ordered thru US Bio Services and my IPA (Allied IPA) doesn't have any contract with US Bio services. I tried and they want the doctor to buy it but my doctor doesn't want to pay for it.

What I would like to know is which IPA in Southern California have contract with US Bio Services so I can change my IPA to that. Those without Medicare and who successfully got Xiaflex thru insurance in Los Angeles which IPA and doctor did you use? Xiaflex website doesn't provide IPA information of the doctors, and when I call most of the time the doctors office receptionist have no clue.

It's standard the doc purchases the medication and then administers it.
