Congenital Curve Questions

Hello all, so glad I found this page because I'm really struggling with this. I have always had my downward curve but didn't realize how out of the ordinary it was until I became more sexually active. I've always found it difficult to maintain an erection for longer than a few seconds without additional stimulation and have recently discovered that it is very difficult for me to penetrate.

I have included two pictures (NSFW) because I would like to know if there is any chance this is Peyronie's or if it is probably congenital? And how bad is it? I want to see a urologist but I don't know if there is anything that can be done. Would surgery be a viable/good option for me? Is there any other way to treat or fix this?

For those of you that have had corrective surgery, can you tell me if your insurance paid anything toward it? Under what circumstances is it considered medically necessary?

Thank you in advance.

Unless the congenital curve prevents intercourse it is usually recommended to do nothing (only surgery is a known treatment for this).  If you've always had it, it is congenital.  If you're having ED problems, I'd definitely get a full work-up for that asap.
