using restorex without the comfort tape?

Hey guys! Have you used the device without the tape that comes with it? How do you find it? Also, is the tape there to provide comfort or for injury prevention?

doobie3

I have tried.. but its just waaay too uncomfortable / painful.  I think its cause the plastic rubs against your skin which is worse because the plastic isn't very gripy. Base on that, I believe the tape is there for both comfort and grip.

My technique is to put the tape they provide first .. maybe 1.5 rolls around the head... then I take some gauze wrap that around once and then take the tape they provide to go around the gauze once over again. I've found it really helps alot with comfort.

doobie3: Thank you so much for replying. When you tried it, did you close the clamp fully? did you get any dent on the are you clamped? How much traction did you do without the wrap?

I tried to close it half way, and did not felt pain.... other than the feeling of my glans compressing... I didn't even got to apply traction.

doobie3

No, closing it fully put a bit too much pressure with or without the wrap, I find that 2 to 3 clicks from the top is usually sufficient. My technique makes closing the clamp fully especially unfeasible because of the extra girth provided due to all that wrapping. But yes, after I finish the traction session, I have a dent where I clamped at, but it goes away within 30 minutes. As for traction, when I didn't put the wrap, I couldnt get any traction since it was too painful or my penis just slipped out of the clamp. With my wrapping technique, I'm able to comfortably bury the white lines and have complete traction with minimal discomfort.

I got tired of buying rolls of tape all the time so I tried a silicone sleeve which works great and you can use it over and over. Also way more comfortable and doesn't allow the clamp to cut off your circulation as much. The clamp never slips either with the silicone.

I had the silicone sleeve from a vac hanger, the blue tubing that is supplied with it can be cut to size. I just cut a piece about 2 inches long.

I really have to get to try it out then.. I just freaked out all this time... picturing my glans being compressed from the clamp. But after this last time, i was pleasantly surprised i have no pain as i as pressing down. Thank you for letting me know about it. It was encouraging.

Do you have any pictures of this? or link with more information about the product?

@pfract, here is a link to what I am talking about: Autoextender Penis Enlargement Device

You will see the blue sleeve as you scroll down the page. I am not promoting this hanger or accessories sold with it, just pointing out the silicone that they use for reference.

@bent ding dong: thank you for sharing the link. I am surprised that somebody would actually use such a device on his penis. I had completely forgotten about how flimsy and shady the traction devices used to look before restorex came along. And i'm so glad it did. A credible alternative backed by a true urologist, with 3 medical trials with corresponding medical papers on pubmed, associated with mayo clinic. Even if it doesn't help everybody, it just gives so much more confidence in recommending it to others.

Hopefully the user base continues to grow, and with it more and more people share their experiences and that will help everybody in the long run.

@pfract, yep I used the vac hanger, can't say that it did anything but I tried. It was comfortable to wear as the rubber inside the vac chamber was nice and soft and you could hang some heavy weights by using the vacuum but it did nothing for peyronie's or penis enlargement. I think if you are still young and have lots of stem cells and no peyronie's you might get some enlargement out of it but it still requires something like 8 hours of hanging a day for an entire year to get even small results if you have good genes. Not worth it at all and not worth the risk in doing damage to the penis even if you don't have peyronie's.

So guys... i finally after moooonths, gathered the courage to try to press my glans with restorex. I should of done that ages ago, but i couldn't do it out of fear. I managed to clamp it down 2 clicks and felt alright...but as i tried to apply traction it slipped always, except for one time but even then it felt that it was going to slip out and i had this feeling of the skin underneath of the penis stretching and hurting a bit.

What do you guys think of the way i wrapped it up? should i apply more? should i tighten the wrap more? Funny enough the wrap says it's self adhesive, but it doesn't stick to anything, so it's hard to pull my penis up to the clamp and not having the tape fall off. I think i am going to try to take the clamp off, clamp it down and then re-attach it to the device.

I leave some pictures on the post.

#edit: we are having issues with posting image attachments on the board. It was brought to the staffs attention, and i am now unable to post pictures as well. I will talk to Lwillis/Hawk.

Hi Pfract, glad to hear you're giving it a try.  Sounds like you need to add some clicks.

I use gauze underneath the tape and it works well. Wrap the gauze around your penis and then the tape over the gauze. I have had excellent results this way.

TonySa

Is the tape around the glans foreskin between the clamps?  It doesn't look like it in the photo where u are clamped.

@tony: Yes, it is. Barely tho.

@Paul: I will have to try it out if this tape thing doesn't work for me.

TonySa

What does the restorex instructions say about foreskin?  It may be that you have to retract before putting the glans in the clamp...less give than the foreskin.

@pfract

Great to see you using the device!

I had a tip for you that worked for me regarding the skin at the bottom of your shaft hurting and pulling

Whenever I feel pulling at any side (especially the bottom side), I pull some of the skin from the different sides of the penis and make it go through the circular ring at the base. I feel like this frees up the skin and allows it to stretch. Usually, this makes the discomfort go away.

Just a note, I have to pull some of the skin from my balls up and over and it sort of rests on the device.

Let me know if this makes sense

Good luck

Hey jj21! so nice to hear from you. I made a few test sessions and managed to compress the glans finally. It was a bit odd, but kept pressing (and praying) and had no pain. To me it feels the best is to compress it somewhat quick. One thing i found that happens with me and i don't know how to solve it other than masturbating before, is that i keep getting erect after i close the clamp and i feel an erection coming. Either i unclamp or it  ends up slipping. It's so frustrating.

I managed two clicks on the device. Maybe at the third one, it will stay secure in place and even if an erection comes it won't slip the penis.

As for the device giving me results, i haven't used it  for traction yet. I am scared to death because of the fracture i had, so i prefer to take baby steps than to hurt myself somehow, and fall into a major depression pit. Right now i can't afford a psychiatrist and i live alone in Canada, without close family that can support me so i gotta take this slow.

I also tried reaching out to TonySa, but it's being a bit hard to arrange time to talk to him properly through phone.

As a suggestion for you, why not save money slowly till it becomes available so then even tho it's very expensive, it doesn't feel as such because the money is already set aside?

jj21

Thanks Pfract, I'm doing exactly that. Saving money aside for it..

Just purchasing a medical grade VED with 3 cylinders so i'm excited about that.

Hope your situation with the girl is going on well. And I hope you do find some success with Traction, maybe starting very very light will help. So will pentox and Cialis daily.

Good luck and keep in touch,
JJ

Hey JJ, so I'm in my 4th week of using the device and I have only checked my angle and its seems to have slight effects so far (something around the 2-3 deg improvement range) although I'm only a third of the way through the recommended treatment period. I am going to check my angle again in a few days so I'll update again.

Although, I do feel like my girth has improved.. this is just a visual observation rather than one with proper measurements. On top of this I do think my length has increased a little bit too.. again this is just from visual observation.

Overall, I think its a good investment since it has the most legitimate science behind it and has proper studies done by Mayo Clinic.

thanks jj! It is going okay for now... not stellar, but i am trying my best. I only attempted oral once with her, and we haven't done anything else since.... I am currently on Cialis daily 5mg, and have been doing so for the past 4 years. It improves my situation, but not 100% rigidity unfortunately.

As soon as i can afford it i plan to get the Augusta too.

TonySa

Hey Pfract, maybe try 10mg cialis, may make a big difference w erection quality.

Doobie - thanks for responding, that's definitely inspiring to hear you're already seeing results. Are you doing 1 hour per day?

Pfract - I am on 5mg daily as well, I found adding 100mg Viagra 30 mins before sexual activity helps a lot with maintaing a strong riggid erection. Dont be ashamed to tell your partner to go slow and gentle, just be open with her and communicate freely and encourage her to communicate how she likes things as well. Women love communication and it can help to have a normal sex life... Will really help with your mental health too man.

Thanks Tony and jj for answering.

jj: did you start straight away on the 100mg or you built up to it!?

PFract - I started straight away, the 100mg was only as needed so I would only use it 40 minutes prior to sexual activity (still continuing the cialis daily and Pentox as usual)... However, it may be safer for you to try 50mg at first then wait 40 mins and see how your erection is? Just in case you have side effects... With my situation, I was unable to have penetration before cialis daily and pentox, after 5mg cialis and pentox I was able to have penetration but my erection just was not strong and riggid, once I added 100mg Viagra before sex I was able to have a normal sex life.

Doobie - Thanks a lot man, I am definitely going to be purchasing it. Just saving up and also waiting for stock to arrive for their distributor here in Australia so may be about 1-2 months before I actually get it. Very inspired by your results, keep it up and consider doing a post in the traction forum of your improvements - it will definitely inspire others.

TonySa

Pfract, are you going to use restorex to treat Erectile Dysfunction?

Pfract - I think that's a great idea.. Just browsing through the forums I have noticed that a lot of members have had success using RestoreX - however, these stories are mixed in different areas of the site. Some are in the traction forum, some are in the improvements forum etc.. It would be great to hvae them all in one place I guess where everyone could benefit... Pkease let me know if you do this as I will subscribe to it.

@jj21: yes... agreed. I will take care of that when i have some time and notify you when i do so. I am also thinking about something else but i will reach out to you via pm.

jj21

P - let me know how you go with the addition of the viag. I also have minor curvature so with this combination I was able to have normal sex again. Im hoping it works for you as well!
