Calcification and bruising question

New member here. My story real quick.

I had occasional ED for about a year.  A couple times recently I attempted penetration with a semi and my penis bent.  Then one day (about a month ago) I noticed a tightness when masturbating.  Not really pain just slight discomfort. Then about a week later I noticed the curve which literally happened overnight.  It is about 15-20%.   My ED seems worse now. Especially maintaining an erection.

Went to the uro and got an ultrasound to confirm Peyronies Disease.  That was 4 days ago. He mentioned plaques and some calcification.  Could calcification come on that quickly or is it possible ultrasounds can be misread? (Hoping this)
Also I noticed a large purple bruise on my shaft yesterday.  Could this be related to the shot I was given before the ultrasound? I didn't notice it until a couple days later which is weird. How long does penis bruising last?  Should I avoid messing around with my penis until the bruise subsides?  I was thinking of trying out a cock ring but don't known if this will aggrivate the bruising.  I would ask my uro but it is the weekend and I don't think I can wait all weekend.

This whole situation has got me so depressed. Thanks in advance for your help

Sounds like you gave Peyronie's, get started by reading the survival guide here.   The shot can cause bruising, I'd wait for it to go away before using penis.  Also, I wouldn't jerk off or have sex unless penis is at least 90% erect or it can cause more damage.  Consider getting started w pentox, traction and low dose nightly  generic cialis.  The latter will help w erections and to remodel plaques to healthy tissue.  The calcification may have been from prior Injuries but not bad enough to cause a curve.  https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057

It sounds like my story. I suddenly developed peyronie too. I went to the doctor who said there was calcification. I couldn't explain it at all ...

I wonder if the calcification occurs so quickly or maybe it has been there for some time?

An injury or inflammed part of the penis doesn't heal properly then the calcification "cools" it down.
It's a poor and simple way of the body to deal with inflammation.

With the bruise,.. If you now keep using your penis in a very intense way it could create another inflammation.
So rest it until it's gone.

A cock ring and then sex or masturbation with it would be the worst idea. It's like having a bruised ankle and then cutting your leg with a tight constriction off and then running a marathon.
