VED during acute phase?

Is VED ok to use during the acute/inflammatory phase?

Some people on some of the threads have said that it's dangerous to use VED during the acute phase.
I've been using it and now I'm concerned.

Thoughts?

Slight bend to the left and down
downward hinging
distal hourglassing
loss of sensation

Medical research indicates the sooner the better.  If it causes pain or discomfort then back off until doable.

PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

Ok. Others have claimed it might be a problem though. I'm wanting to hear others' input.
