Im honestly suicidal
« on: April 12, 2020, 05:24:47 PM »

I have suffered form depression and other mental health issues since I was 15 years old. now I'm 24 and since February I suffer from Peyronies Disease, 24, a ridiculous age to suffer from Peyronies Disease. nobody seems to be capable of understanding the added mental anguish I am experiencing. I feel like nobody can or is even interested in helping me. I have seen 2 urologists that said I have Peyronies Disease but there is not much they can do because "most approaches do not work". One prescribed me potataba and I am seeing another one on Wednesday and I want him to prescribe me pentox and Cialis. I don't know much else to do. my dick is almost useless anyway due to its size and now it has lost more substantially in girth and the pain has not subsided at all. Since last week I also experience serious Erectile Dysfunction which makes it impossible to masturbate, on the back its completely impossible, sitting it works but I can't stay hard for more than a few seconds. At this point, I don't see myself getting to a point where I don't get up every morning and feel like total crap. I understand this is a progressive disease and if it ever gets to the point where the changes are too drastic I honestly don't know what I am going to do. modern medicine should be really ashamed of not having anything that works against this ridiculous disease. can't say I miss my old life because it never was good but I do miss my penis and actually being able to at least pleasure myself once in a while. now that that is gone.. and the Peyronies Disease just keeps getting worse, what the [email protected]< is this life

I kind of agree with you. Men get ignored and screwed in this world. We fight the wars, get killed, have to work to pay for the wife and kids and it all sucks. And the medical community just says Peyroines is no big deal (maybe because it won’t kill you I guess). Never mind the psychological damage it does on your self-esteem and sense of self-worth, and the doctors don’t care. But, if women got something like this, like say their vaginas closed up because of some weird disease so as to allow no penetration, they’d be storming the hospitals demanding the doctors do something to find a cure. They’d be picketing the hospitals until a cure was found. Men are supposed to shut up and just live with it. That’s crap.

Hi Peter, can you explain your condition-preferably in your signature line.  There is treatment for Peyronie’s and success for many.  Be sure to read the survival guide and bring your questions here.   You’re in the right place for support! https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057

Nothing against implants, if you need one, but I thought no one would implant a penis unless you have Erectile Dysfunction. What if don‘t have Erectile Dysfunction, but just Peyroines?

Yeah. I can relate to the suffering this disease causes mentally. Our entire manhood it seems is all wrapped around our penises. Everything matters: size, sensation, straightness, rock hard erections, etc. I do really feel for all these younger guys with this and what they must be going though. I never had to deal with this crappy  disease till I was 56. I know a lot of younger guys think, „Oh 56. Big deal. My dad‘s younger than that.“ Well, wait till you‘re 56 and say that. All I can say is accept the things you can’t fix, fix the things you can and accept the fact that nature isn’t always nice. That’s just the way life is. But, this damn Peyroines thing can be improved, it can get better on its own in a minority of cases, and life goes on. Count your blessings too. That your Peyroines can be improved and will get better if you have the determination. The penis is not only a pretty important organ for us guys (unser bestes Stück as they say in German, out best piece) but it’s also pretty delicate too. It’s not like your foot you can drop a hammer on and not always hurt it all that much. Just be glad you haven’t got something wrong with your penis worse than Peyroines, like penile cancer. Damn. I remember I searched YouTube awhile ago and clicked on some video from India over treating penile cancer. This surgeon just took a scalpel and just cut this guy’s penis completely off at the base leaving only a stump with what looked like a little straw left to pee out of. It was horrifying. So much so I can’t even watch that video again (I’m surprised YouTube even put it up there or allowed it, it was so bad.) When I got Peyroines diagnosed by a regular doctor I googled Peyroines and found some medical journal article about a guy, around 27, who was misdiagnosed with Peyroines, but turned out having penile cancer. They gave him the choice of having his dick cut off a dying in a year. He decided to keep his penis and was dead in a year. That’s when I thought, “Damn, I want a urologist to make this diagnosis. So I went back, got the Peyroines diagnosis confirmed and went to Dr Lue who reconfirmed the diagnosis. Well, nature has some mercy, since penile cancer is pretty rare (even though it wasn’t rare for those guys), Unlike Peyroines which is fairly common (like 10% of the population) but if you ever have a penile problem, be sure it gets check by a good doc. So, for what it’s worth there is life after peyroines and it can get better. And count your blessings as they say.

Gone through it too, I guess some here..
Life and peyronies is a challenge.
Many overcame peyronies in one way or the other.

Often one bad thing comes to the other.
Depressive state leads to your body taking a toll too which can create a devil's circle. Depressed cause body doesn't work..

You can find a way to put some meaning into life or a small part of life, of course masturbation can be an enjoyable hobby too ;) but there's much more out there. Find something, at least 1 thing.

Ive suffered from anxiety for years since having a DVT when I was 21.

Now with Peyronie’s I’m feeling exhausted.  I wouldn’t say I am suicidal, but as the kids are growing up and my wife’s career as a teacher is more stable, i am beginning to not fear dying.  I’ve got little fight left.

I doubt that. Imagine through what your ancestors got through in fights, disease and hunger for thousands of years lol
There's a lot more in you than you can think.
