Hey guys, I have a traction question.

I got diagnosed with Peyronies (Dr. Mulhall, NYC) two years ago, 22.5 degree upward bend and I have been stable since. I did traction for 8-12 weeks after getting diagnosed (took me 2 months to get diagnosed).

Besides 2.5mg of daily Cialis I Didn't do anything else at the request of my Dr. as the bend wasn't bad and it didn't impact my sex life.

Things have been fine since.

Yesterday during sex, as I was about climax with my GF on top, as she was coming off she came down on my penis. It wasn't bad and it didn't hurt but it happened.

Of course I've been in panic since then. I have felt this "itchy" feeling in my the head of penis yesterday evening after, and all day today. My penis is also "hot or warm" to the touch. I had a nightly erection and masturbated today with no pain at all. This itchy warm feeling is in the flaacid state. So i called and left a message with my doctor and am waiting to hear back.

With everything going on in NYC, doctors visits are out of the question so I'm wondering what I should do.

Should I start traction? Wait to hear from him?

I have this dread that I did some damage and the itchiness isn't in my head...I just don't know.

Do you have accurate measurements so you can follow any changes closely?  Traction wouldn't hurt so if you're willing, go ahead and start.  Regardless watch your measurements closely.  Whatever helps you w anxiety Would be good for you during this worrisome time.  Hang in there!

I say leave it alone dude, for 7 days no touching no erection checking. I've experienced similar things (one time my GF's small dog stepped of my half erect penis) and have actually had pain. Every time it would go away if I didn't panic and let it rest and heal. I think after a penile trauma whether mild or moderate that panic + trying to use physical modalities like traction or getting erections is a recipe for disaster. Chill out and let it rest 7 days then go from there
Penis injury in late 2017. A lump formed at injury site that caused no deformity, just pain and a palpable lump. Pain is improving through proper rest and use, diet, and mindfulness. I am always learning and looking to share things that have helped.

Thanks for the replies guys. Spoke to the nurse practitioner in the office and she said I could start traction if I want to or give a few weeks to see if it abates. She said the incident could have caused damage or it might not have. The only way to really know is to wait the 2-12 weeks (her words - Acute phase) ::) She said if I do notice a physical change or actual pain when erect or not to call back and they would arrange a video appointment with my doctor.

I'm just not sure that doing traction this early is a good idea? If I did hurt myself, wouldn't be aggravating it?

She said as long as I don't have pain i can resume normal sexual activity. Getting erections at night, not painful and no difference in physical appearance. The only issue i have is still the "itchiness" in the head when flaccid.

Think maybe i'll hold off on traction for a week or two.

I hate this crap :(

Leave it alone, won't tell you again. The doctors don't know crap sometimes. Doctors rarely tell you to not use it. They don't understand penile injuries entirely . Leave it alone for a week dude. It's not a big deal . Just 1 week.

I couldn't agree more, the first uro i went to post injury looked at my mangled scarred junk and was like yeah you can resume normal operations, as if there was nothing wrong.  I would rest it for at least a week or 2 as you thought.

Still have the same issues. Tingling in the head of my penis replacing the "normal" feeling in the head of penis when I have to pee. Its waking me up at night. I'm getting nocturnal erections but they aren't full. No pain when fully erect.

Going to my Gp today see if he can rule out a UTI, but I think thats doubtful. Its been 10 days and it hasn't gotten worse. No sex and I haven't masturbated nor have I started traction again.

UPDATE: Saw my GP...said the urine "looked" ok but sent it out for culture. Gave me a script of anti-biotics and anti inflammatories for 7 days in case it comes back positive for infection. He said I could take it anyway as precautionary. The only thing that gives me hope its a UTI or prostatitus is that the tingling gets worse when i have to pee, thinking maybe its related.

I'm hoping it is a UTI because i'd rather have that then a re-injuring.

I would highly recommend you be in control of all thrusting and sex moving forward. My gf knows I had peyronies, and have since healed with minor deformity and no pain. I am in 100% control of any thrusting when shes on top, I thrust. She knows to be careful and gentle and we communicate throughout any sex. So far so good. Be well.
