Didn't know whether to put my first post in the intro section or implant section, but let me start off by saying thank you so much to everybody on this website I have been reading for months about what pills to take, certain creams and the traction/VED device. All this information is great, but unfortunately after having separate talks with my father and wife I've decided to go the implant route.

About a year ago developed very rare hourglassing  from time to time. Mid January things took a turn for the worse as after sex for some strange reason I went incredibly limp, had hard flaccid for a week, and my semi erections were so hourglasses I almost fainted looking at it. Since then I developed crazy ED (prescribed daily cialis is 5mg which has helped a ton). But also I have been taking L Arganine L citruline, Acetyl l carnitine and vitamin e. While my EQ is around a 7-8. The way my penis looks semi erect and flaccid disturbs the hell out of me. If I could even last five minutes, a second sex session is out of the question. And the thought of spending hours doing traction and VED every day seems impossible with raising my daughter and my full time job. My wife is fully on board with the implant idea and we're driving out to Maryland to meet Dr. Kramer at the end of April and perform the implant for that week.

I know I'm young, I know I haven't even started all these treatments. But I have BCBS and they will cover the procedure so why keep wasting time and money on pills and devices if I could save my sex life right now. The thought of losing natural erections does not bother me since it's so damn hard for me to even get one now. To get rid of this dent in my penis/hourglassing I am looking forward to having this implant done and the tough recovery month that follows. But the idea of an implant wouldn't have been possible had I not come to this forum and seen everybody's suggestions, read every bodies stories. And I'm only able to have sex right now it feels like because of all these pills suggested on this forum, so thank you. During the week of my surgery I will head over to the implant section and create a journal.

Hi Chief, it sounds like you have a plan and are set on it.  There are advantages to getting an implant early-namely no additional loss of length or girth (as well as not putting in the hours/day and months of the oral/injection/physical therapies).  You're in good hands w Kramer.  Please keep us posted.

Chief,
From what I've read the satisfaction rate with an implant is extremely high.
Kramer is a top doctor... so I'm sure you are being advised well.
Just had Plication with synthetic graft myself and have watched numerous implant videos...
Don't think it will be too hard of a recovery either

No curvature when fully erect, but a dent on the right side and the hard plaque making it look like the letter "D". Strange to explain. Have lost very little girth. But I think it's due to the weird shape my penis is slowly forming into. I mentioned all the pills I'm taking and got restorex. But it was frustrating me tbh (simple concept, maybe just wasn't for me) and once I found out my insurance covered 90% of the procedure I decided to return it.

That's definitely the number one reason. I have an average sized package 6L x 4.4G, and have lost a little girth so to just go straight with the implant is my best option.

And also to everyone else, thank you for the positive feedback on Dr. Kramer. Glad to see I chose the right surgeon to perform the implant.

Hi,

I'm extremely interested in how things go for you. I'm 34 going on my 3rd month since being diagnosed with Peyronies Disease.
I'm talking to Dr. Eid myself but certainly considered Kramer. I honestly think implant is the smartest thing to do. But my wife and Dr. Eid want me to keep trying to maintain my natural erections for at least a couple more months.

Anyway, do you have a FT account?

Good luck, and please keep us posted!

I think this is an insane overreaction
THIS USER HAS BEEN BANNED FROM FORUM FOR REPEATED RULE VIOLATIONS He never had Peyronies Disease but has body dysmorphia and his pastime was to attack all treatments, medical resources, and opinions.

It's tough to say. The titan implant will give him more girth and he will maintain his length. God forbid an infection that's the biggest risk.
He will be 100% cured and not have to take any pills or waste time.

It's the nuclear option, i personally didn't have the balls to do it as quickly but I did heavily consider it. I think with RestoreX you can at least mitigate length loss and girth can always be gained back by a titan - given that the plaques are not too calcified. If you're not getting erections then for sure you will experience length loss (1-2cm every 14 months if i recall.)

I do tend to agree though that it's pretty rash, but I don't know the extend of his ED. For sure should try to get a diagnosis for venous leak or figure out why it was happening. If you get very poor erections the max you can wait is 14 months. Doing a VED and traction regiment before the implant *might* be beneficial. But with somewhat aggresive sizing he can always upsize in the revisions.

Anyway i find this way to go very interesting and curious about the results.
