Penis injury, chronic pain for 7 month

Hi,

Last August I was masturbating and put too much pressure on the left side beneath the head. I felt a cold sensation and some mild pain and I think I felt something pop or snap but very slightly. Afterwards noticed redness and veins bulging out just under the glans on the left side. It feels like a cut or open wound but under the skin.

After about 2 weeks of no improvement and constant pain I went to the doctors. The GP told me it was fungal and to get anti fungal cream which I used for 2 weeks with no improvement. I went back and they then gave me steroid cream which I used for 2 weeks with no improvement. Went back and was referred to a dermatologist at a hospital. The waiting period was 4 months. I had my appointment on the 26th Feb. The dermatologist was dumbfounded, said he has no idea what it is, alluded to it being in my head and gave me a numbing cream for the pain and to go back on 20th March.

I genuinely believe I have torn or damaged a layer under the skin on my penis just under the glans on the left side. This is revealing a very red, tender, deeper layer that shouldn't be exposed, along with veins poking through where they were covered somewhat before by the layer that's damaged or torn.

It's shown no signs of healing during the past 7 months. I have not masturbated in about a month. I am able to masturbate but it's painful. I get normal erections, in fact too easily, I'm trying not to get erections because they are painful and it feels like it's tearing the layer under the skin a bit more each time I get one.

I have done nothing but google and attempt to research online. The only things I have found similar to my case show no resolution in sight.

If the link doesn't work, google "torn fascia penis". It's on Phalloboards

I feel like I'm in the 5 stages of grief, teetering between depression and acceptance. But I don't want to accept that I have an painful, not-fit-for-purpose penis for the rest of my life! I sit at work everyday constantly dwelling on this dire mistake. I could probably forget about it for a while if it wasn't for the constant stinging, wound like pain.

If anyone has any clue as to how I may get over this life changing injury, please let me know. Or if anyone is going through something similar, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks for reading

Sounds like you might to need to find a private andrology specialist.  Could it be a hematoma.  Gor pain gave you tried ibuprofen and diclofenac gel?  Both OTC, at least in US. Hang in there and keep us posted.

I think you should go see a urologist... all of the dermatologist treatments have failed, you really don't have anything to lose. :)

Thank you for your replies everyone. At my last visit to the dermatologist, I was referred to Urology, but I haven't had confirmation of an appointment yet and with the current global situation I imagine it will be delayed. The pain is getting worse, I've been using Lidocaine creme but it's becoming less effective. I don't know how much longer I can go on like this

Hang in there, my pain came on the same way and was like that for about a month post injury.   Try using a heating pad (or the rice sock) on light heat for 10 minutes or so at a time.  Ibuprophen and other OTC pain management didn't do much at all for me.   About 5 months out my peyronie's pain is better, not cured, but definitely manageable.

Maybe try voltaren gel topical (available as generic).
