has anyone with chronic Hard Flaccid had a penile implant installed?

Hi,

I have hard flaccid quite badly.

I am thinking very far into the future right now. However, I would be worried if I got a penile implant because my stretched or relaxed length isn't indicative of my erect length, at all. It is shorter and thinner.

Do you think the surgeon would install a wrongly sized implant because of this?

I can't really answer your question, but I do know that if you can achieve a natural erection I wouldn't go for an implant, only if you REALLY can't function without an implant anymore. Also heard hard flaccid is often related to pelvic floor dysfunction so you may look into that.

I disagree.  I was able to get an erection but I couldn't keep it long enough.  If you pick a surgeon that is good at what he does, you will have a great sex life and, like the rest of us, you will wonder why you didn't do this many years ago.

OP's question still needs answering though because I think it is valid for the rest of the forum too. Must be similar cases. I am in a similar situation where my BPSFL is much less than my erect length. So will the surgeon only be going by that length? If so, will be much shorter than it could be.

I just saw a video by Kramer that said ones stretch length Is always the max of their erection but he didn't mention HF.

My stretched length is a good 2 inches shorter than erect.

Yes. If I pull on it and add heat or don't masturbate for a long time. Depends on if it is cold. Lots of factors. I asked Dr. Eid and he says he measures erect length with penile injection. So that's a relief there.

During surgery, the surgeon will measure and give you the largest implant that your shaft can handle.  Don't worry so much about size.  Cycle as instructed for a minimum of twice a day for 30 min each time for two years.  I doubled my length and girth.  Having said all of that, there is no point in having a 10" dong if you can't use it. I don't have a huge dick but I can screw like the energizer bunny.

If you get a highly skilled surgeon with good statistics over a high volume of implants you will end up with an erection at least as big as the last good erection you got before surgery.

I can still get an erection. The problem is maintaining it. I have a feeling because of this my Peryonies will get worse.

If, sometime in the future, I will require an implant. I am definitely going to press for an injection so the surgeon can measure it properly. I may even start charting change through photos now.

I'll probably pay a fortune to see Dr. Eid. There's no point in doing it half-heartedly.

The surgeon will measure you for what your anatomy says is the biggest one you can handle.
