i have been having problem with erections since i was 22. i just discovered this forum and was wandering maybe someone has similar issues as i do and maybe provide help.
mine started when i was 22, was with a girl, not having intercourse, just laying naked having fun with each other. we took a break to have a smoke. (now i dont smoke and wasnt smoking at the time either, just occasionally).  after, we went back to bed but i couldnt get erected. since this moment i couldnt get proper erection. no matter if i was with girls or masturbating alone. all i could get was what would feel like half to 3/4 erected. of course i went docs, they did tests, gave me viagra but even with viagra it still felt like 3/4. i got frustrated and stopped chasing it, it eventually improved a bit to the point i could get 3/4 erections most of the time and on some occasions i even get pretty close to normal erection. again this is both with girl or me alone. any idea what this could be? i also have noticed that after this happened i can locate straight cord like object, it has no pulse but it doesnt look like vein as its completely straight, it runs on the top of my penis from base and starts to dissapear towards the end. i can only locate it when i am erected, its even visible. any input appreciated.

thanks

Sounds like peyronie's from your description.  First step is go to doctor and get a color double doppler ultrasound (or the best you can get depending on what they offer). They don't have to induce erection to diagnose peyronie's, but in your case I would consider it to measure blood flow and determine if you have venous leakage. The doc should also do a manual exam to palpate and identify any plaque, which it sounds like you may have. Make sure the doctor is a specialist in peyronie's, an andrologist who sees peyronie's cases all the time, not a regular GP or urologist. If you do have it, start right away with a multi-modal treatment (daily viagra/cialis, traction, VED, Pentox, etc.) Read the survival guide here and do  a good deal of reading, but in manageable chunks. Don't overwhelm yourself but get ahead of it.

Have you tried Cialis? Some people react better to it than Viagra.

I have not tried cialis.  Like i said, i tottaly gave up as nobody would be able to tell me what was going on. I was fine for 20 years as long as my erections were 75% plus i was able to have decent sex life and after a while i completely stopped sttessing about it. Now for past few weeks it seems like the erections are weaker again so i started pursuing it again. I live in usa, is this cialis something i can get in pharmacy or is it by prescription?
I am also very active, road bike mountain bike, hike, ttail run, gym and weights. Biking is my main activity, could too much saddle time have taken its toll?

You could suffer from low testosterone as well. Go to the doctors and tell them about your issues - ask them to get a testosterone check and get a script for cialis.

Google low testosterone symptoms and see if that describes your situation.

What JJ21 said. But beware.. depending on where you live, a lot of doctors don't like perscribing testosterone even when you're low. My levels are measured at 100 to 300 ng/dl which is low for a 25 year old, but my doc won't do anything. Do some research yourself. Ideally your levels would be 600 ng/dl at least, but true hypogonadism is under 300 ng/dl. If you're in the 300's you might experience symptoms as well.

thanks guys, googleing symptoms of low T,  i really only have one, and that is problems with erection. with low T, wouldnt erection problems start gradually? mine just stopped working suddenly.
also, at the time, i was tested for testosterone and they said my levels were normal. maybe worth a retest now, but dont feel like that is the issue.

You could always try a retest and make sure to get the numbers as most doctors will say you're "normal" unless you literally have klinefelters and have close to zero testosterone in your body. But in al honesty, I don't think you have low T if you don't have any of the symptoms. I suspect maybe you have a venous leak, but I'm not sure and don't know how you could fix it. If it gets worse over time an implant could be an option, but that's a pretty big step and don't know if you really need it. You could also try to use a VED maybe in combination with a cockring and see if that will give you a 100% erection.

Cavo: you will definitely be able to get help from most doctors. I found  them to be very willing to if nothing else give testing samples for a patient to try here in Canada. I was given a lot of them at the US too, when  i was there in 2016.

You should get a diagnosis definitely, and look for a doctor that can give you the support you need. Reading about ED  and what it entails is also a plus.

Low dose cialis or even the 5mg and see how it goes. There are also other medications people take here that increase blood flow to your penis. L arginine... for example. You mention you are active and thats very good to know. Helps a lot.

Cheaper online rather than through pharmacy.  If you can afford somarect-great, if not cheap one online will work as well.
