Hey,

I've been to three urologists and they won't prescribe me pentox because they say it won't work. I don't know if it will, or if it won't. But it would help put my mind at ease.

So, does anyone know a urologist or doctor who will prescribe me Pentox in London?

Cheers

Hi,
I went this week to a urologist in London who specialises in Peyronies.  They didn't prescribe me Pentox either. I asked if there were any drugs that could help and was told the best thing is Cialis. I'm going to call and ask specifically about Pentox.
Cheers
Noticed symptoms in January 2020, got diagnosis in February 2020, starting off with Cialis and VED.

I saw Mr Ralph in London who initially prescribed tamoxifen then changed to pentox when I said I was concerned about the potential side effects from tamoxifen. Happy to give more info if helpful, but don't check the forum too often!

General information regarding physician denials:

It is VERY typical for doctors to refuse to prescribe Pentoxifylline for Peyronie's because it is an off label use, that is, it has never been fully tested for treatment of Peyronie's since that testing is very expensive and would not yield a profit for drug companies.  But we all know that Pentoxifylline works and works well.

IF YOUR DOCTOR REFUSES TO PRESCRIBE PENTOXIFYLLINE DON'T GIVE UP.
Never simply  request Pentoxifylline for treatment of peyronies. ALWAYS be ready to provide legitimate documentation as to its effectiveness.  This documentation is readily available on this website as well as CoQ10 documentation.  Don't argue with your doctor, just print out the documentation and leave it for them to look over.  It should have contact information (like email addresses) of other doctors they can consult with in order to verify the information.  I have practiced this successfully in the past multiple times and in the process gained access to off label drugs like Pentox.  Give your doctor some time to look into it.  If they still refuse to prescribe it, you can always use this site to find another doctor like the originator of this thread did successfully.
