Finished Xiaflex and got measured

As you may know, I finished my last round in December. However, I wasn't able to get an ultrasound and measurement until just this week. The good news? They measured my curvature again using a Goniometer. It went from 45 degrees to 31 degrees! Definite improvement!!

The downside is that the ultrasound revealed new plaque towards the top of the shaft. I'm going to stay on Pentox and L-Arginine, but it looks like a lot of traction is in my future. I'm down a good inch from what I was before Peyronies and my girth is less too. I'm hoping traction for a year using my Restorex device will at least halt future shrinkage. As for the curve, it's fine and I can have intercourse. No need for further shots. Also the ultrasound revealed good blood flow to my penis.

I'm still worried about long term progression, and will look at also seeing what dietary changes I can make. I'm going to look to cut out refined sugars, alcohol and other process foods. Maybe that will cut the inflammation.

Congratulations on the improvement!  In terms of progression and inflammation, I'd recommend a ketogenic diet with high quality food.  This combined with intermittent fasting may help slow or prevent more damage.  Someone else in this community posted about The Keto Answers podcast (renamed "The Natural State") and it's changed my life.  There is a wealth of information on how the body reacts to a crap diet and the metabolic damage we are unknowingly doing.

Nightly low dose pde5i w traction might be good long term strategies as well.

Interesting that you mentioned traction, Tony. I had my follow up with Dr. Khera at Baylor today. Aside from discussing the decrease in curvature, he also recommended continued cialis (although I don't have any erectile issues) along with traction. I told him I was using restorex, and he recommended going 90 minutes.

Regarding my plaque, he said that it is smaller than the last ultrasound, so we'll see. Nonetheless, I'm going to be a traction warrior over the next year.  :)

To me this sounds like there is no winning in peyronies. I would hardly consider such substantial size loss and marginal curvature reduction a success. It seems like the first line treatment especially for young men who get this should be a penile implant. Because as you said new plaques forming, it never ends it'll always go on and on.

Peter, why are you downplaying his improvement?  Sounds like sour grapes and not helpful!

Good work! Now would be the time to do traction and definitely keto or fasting.
