2 years have passed since my injury and I'm still not sure if this is Peyronies

2 years ago I accidently injured my penis during masturbation. Since then I've been to two different urologists who both told me there was nothing wrong with it after a physical exam, although one of them told me to have a doppler ultrasound done which later showed I had a superficial thrombophlebitis on my glans. He told me to take NSAIDs for the pain and that was it.

With this ultrasound revealing I had a thrombophlebitis, for a long time Mondor's disease seemed the most likely problem to me, but at this point I just don't know anymore.

My symptoms:
  • Penile and pelvic pain - a very sharp pain on my penis and pelvis on the first 7 months after the injury
  • My flaccid penis feels very heavy and swollen (like it has tripled the weight it used to have before the injury), and is hard/stiff all the time (could this be an edema?). The shaft also feels quite stiff and much less flexible than it used to be. When I'm flaccid it's like I have some sort of priapism on my glans, while the rest of the penis is shrinked (but hard). Due to the heaviness of my penis it has become very uncomfortable (and sometimes painful) to do something as basic as sitting, laying in bed (the only position which isn't uncomfortable for my penis is laying on my back), walking (I only do it slowly), running (I almost never ran for the past two years since my injury, only if I really had to) or even just wearing trousers.
  • The shape of the penis has completely changed. Everything looks swollen. My glans has enlarged and the tip has extended forward, whereas before the injury my glans had kind of a round shape, it now has a more "pointy" shape. If I'm standing up and flaccid the shaft is much shorter and shrinked than it used to
  • Weak urine flow and dribbling
  • I get semi-erections every time my bladder fills and it will only go away and turn flaccid until after I urinate.
  • My foreskin has these weird worm-like wrinkly strings that circle around the tip of my glans as if it was tied like a knot. If I have an erection, some of these strings turn into swole inflamed veins or lumps.
  • I may have loss around 1cm of penis lenght
  • No Erectile Dysfunction (fortunately), but erections are painful and the penis heaviness problem makes it much more difficult for the erection to point upwards and remain that way.
  • I don't think I have any big peyronies-like curve but my penis does bend slightly to the right and I don't think this happened before the injury
The sharp pelvic and penile pain thankfully went away almost 7 months after the injury, but since then (1 year and a half ago) everything remained mostly the same, specially the penis heaviness and swelling.

If I can't cure this completely without a surgery, I'd like at least to get rid of the awful penis heaviness problem. I'm not even able to sleep for too long since I can't lay in a confortable position in bed due to the heaviness of my penis.

So what do you think of these symptoms? Could this be Peyronies, Mondor's disease, Lymphangiosclerosis or something else? What do you think would be the best treatment to flaccid penis heaviness and hardness?

I really hope you guys can help me out.

I been having some similar issues with my glans and urination.  My mondor's vein is in the lower distal dorsal side.  I agree that finding a real specialist in the field with a good track record is the right next step.

I could only suggest finding a specialized andrologist.

Do none of these symptoms seem like Peyronies to you?

Already went to two urologists who told me I had nothing, would an andrologist really be that different?

It absolutely sounds like it to me.  Not all Peyronies Disease cases are the same.  I don't have a major curve per se, but definitely have a dent and my penis is totally changed as well.  I have been diagnosed.  First uro did not find the plaque, but the second did pretty quickly.

Curves are common in Peyronie's but in sometimes called atypical cases there are dents, hourglassing and/or loss in length/girth.

How's Pentox working out for you?

As far as pentox goes, I took it for about 2 weeks and had to get off of it due to what I guess my prostate getting really inflamed.  I don't think it was from the Pentox, but I had to be sure.  I got off of it for about a month, and had another flare up without it so I was able to rule it out as the cause.  I just got back on it yesterday and we will see how it goes now.

I strongly believe that I have a minor urethral stricture near the glans caused by either the peyronie's scarring on my ventral side just below the head or damage in itself due to not having a solid erection the last time I was able to use my dear old friend.   The reason i bring it up, is that I also have been to 2 different urologists, 1st was a doofus, 2nd was better, but really doesn't get into figuring out what is going on.  Definitely just glossed over the whole peyronie's issue.  I know I need a cytoscope, etc, to figure out the issue since it is definitely causing penile burning after urination and possibly roughing up my prostate.  But I need to get it under GA due to the messed up state that the penis is in from the Peyronies Disease being so inflamed / active phase.  Damn nightmare and unhelpful doctors and I totally understand what you are saying.

Yeah, those are very similar to my symptoms (only I've been like this for two years already. Hopefully things will go better for you)
