Should I stop taking antidepressants?

I wonder if it would be better to stop taking antidepressants while my penis doesn't heal.
Since peyronies, mondor's disease and some other penile injuries and conditions are related to blood flow, I wonder if taking antidepressants that cause some erectile dysfunction doesn't help the healing?

Also should I be mixing antidepressants with blood thinners like Pentox and others, or could it be dangerous?

Thanks

You can google drug interactions, but I haven't heard of any such negative interactions.  Also, haven't seen any research indicating anti-depressants exacerbating peyronies.

SSRI's will impair your libido.

I had a friend who was on an SSRI and it made his penis numb, and he was only on it for two weeks. It took a month for full sensation to return. (but something this extreme is probably rare).

I take Wellbutrin for depression, and that doesn't interfere with libido at all.

Thanks, I know it probably doesn't exacerbate peyronies, my question was more if these drugs could make the healing more difficult/take more time, due to the side effects I always feel like erectile dysfunction and others.

I'll see if I can find that in my country. Thank you

Libido is such a weird thing. I personally have been on and off antidepressants and on and off testosterone (TRT). Having been on antidepressants and off TRT for a while now I can tell you life SUCKS but in all honesty my libido is still there. The desire for sex is and I can still get horny watching porn for example. Only difference is that I don't have those moods anymore where I am so horny I just HAVE to masturbate or have sex. I can go days without masturbation if I'm busy doing other things.

For healing I'm not sure, but I think antidepressants don't make peyronies worse. Used to worry about that as well, but I don't really see how it could make it worse or impair healing. However, if you notice erectile dysfunction only after going on antidepressants I would go for a different substance. But even then I think you should only start to worry about getting worse if you don't get nighttime erections. These are most important for maintaining penis size and function. If you go a looong time without an erection your penis will atrophy which is why they say "use it or lose it". Shouldn't be a concern though if your testosterone levels are fine and everything works. Only if you have a serious problem you will stop getting nighttime erections. If you wanna check for yourself if you have nighttime erections you should wrap a band made of thin paper around your penis and if it is broken next morning you have had an erection.
