Hi all, and thanks in advance for your support.

WHAT HAPPENED (the short version)

Ok, so I suffered some trauma to my penis while masturbating on August 20th of 2019. I was really stoned when it happened and sort of lost control a little I guess, but I don't remember exactly what it was that I did to it that could have caused an injury. All I remember is my penis suddenly going flaccid, and then I panicked, which triggered a really bad trip. I probably spent the next hour or so trying to coax my penis back to an erection. I know that masturbation without a full erection can be a cause of peyronie's, so I don't know if I got my peyronie's from the same thing that made me go flaccid, or from continuing to try to masturbate for a long time afterwords. Also, I was burning sage and letting the sage smoke waft up to my penis (weird, but I was really stoned. It was a whole thing). I was holding the sage relatively close to my penis and I wonder if the heat could have helped make the injury more likely?

MY SYMPTOMS

-a bend to the left starting maybe an inch or inch-and-a-half from the very base of my penis. I haven tried to measure the exact degree, but the bend fortunately does NOT prevent penetration. This bend is apparent both when flaccid and when erect. My penis obviously reads shorter when measuring from the left now, but I haven't noticed any drastic decreased in length. When fully erect I'm usually floating around 6 or 6 1/4 inches.

-A lateral rotation in a counterclockwise direction, such that the top (dorsal) of my penis is slightly more to the left and the bottom (ventral) is more to the right.

-an indentation on the ventral side of my penis maybe an inch behind the glans. This is most apparent when I pull my foreskin back while erect.

-hour-glassing and loss of girth just behind my glans. I'm uncircumcised, so the hour glassing is most apparent when I pull my foreskin back while flaccid. My foreskin is also a little tight, so that might be exaggerating the hour glassing. I can always tell that I've lost girth there though, flaccid or erect.

-also a slight downward bend starting about halfway along the shaft of my penis.

-just behind the rim of my glans, on either side, I can feel a pebble-like plaque. If I palpate further, starting with these plaques and moving toward the base, I can feel that the tissue on either side is a little more rigid than it should be. Then I start to feel some scar tissue in sort of a worm or vein formation that runs the rest of the to the base of my penis. At one point I tried the sonic toothbrush treatment, and if I palpated the pebbly plaque on one side of my penis while pressing the back of the toothbrush head into the plaque on the other side, I could feel the vibrations in the plaque of was palpating. This leads me to believe that it is one larger plaque that is connected across the underside of my penis.

So... that's more or less what I've been able to observe.

I've also been experiencing difficulty having and maintaining erections. It definitely feels as if the bottom half of my shaft feels more hard or sturdy during most erections, while the top half near the tip is less likely to become fully erect. I'm sure part of the Erectile Dysfunction is psychological, and I'm wondering if I should seek out sex therapy, but I think it's also physical.

My main concern is that I've experienced a lot of loss of sensation towards the tip of my penis. The bottom of the penis, just behind the glans is supposed to be one of the most sensitive parts, and this seems to be just where a lot of my plaque is. This has made intercourse and masturbation notably less enjoyable, and I've largely given up on them. I can reach orgasm through sex or masturbation, but it often feels like I'm working at it the whole time, and it's pretty stressful. Also, just as often, I am unable to cum at all. I wouldn't say that I particularly enjoy it on most occasions.
Also, my penis generally just sort of *feels wrong* in a way I can't describe. It feels like it's not whole, and that's a big turnoff for me. It feels sort of tight and uncomfortable in the area where most of the plaques are. It's hard to describe, but maybe some of you know what I'm talking about.
Also, it used to be that, when I flexed the muscles in my pelvic floor while erect, my dick would sort of bob or bounce up and my glans would sort of pulse and explained a little. This happens sometimes still, but to a significantly decreased degree. Also, it used to be that this would happen when I ejaculated, but now there's no bob and pulse when I ejaculate and my penis stays relatively still, no throbbing.

Anyway, I'm distressed about the changes in shape, loss of girth, indentation, etc. but they aren't seriously effecting my sexual function. However the loss of sensation, wrong-feeling in my penis, and the Erectile Dysfunction obviously are and it is causing me immense distress.

I feel like this has really effed my life, and ever since this happened to me in August I have been incredibly depressed, unable to enjoy life. I have stretches of days where I'm in constant emotional pain. I feel like this has ended my life.

WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING
Initially I started taking Vitamin E, and l-carnitine. I stopped that a few months ago. Occasionally I'll still apply the Vitamin E transdermally. I've been applying castor oil to the plaques, transdermally one or twice a day. I've been using a rice sock once or twice a day, maybe 10 to 20 minutes. I've been doing intermittent manual traction after watching one of Neo's videos (although, since most of my palpable plaques are just behind the head of my penis, it's harder to be sure that stretching is having an effect on them, since there so close to where I hold for traction). I tried the toothbrush thing, I think it just made my dick more numb and may have aggravated the plaques.

Supplements: (sorry, I don't remember all of the dosages and I'm not home right now to check)
L-Arginine 1000mg x2daily
CoQ10
Serapeptase

Nothing seems to have had any effect so far, but I've only been on most of the supplements, heat, traction, for a month.

In the past few weeks I've slacked off on heat and traction though. :(

DOCTORS
I've seen three doctors in Cincinnati, all affiliated with The Urology Group.
I saw Dr. Aaron Bey maybe in October.
I said I have peyronies before palpating my penis for plaques, which he didn't seem to locate (or if he did, he didn't point them out to me). Didn't offer an ultrasound. Mentioned Xiafelx but made it sound pretty scary. Told me to take some Vitamin E and come back in 6 months. I felt him to be very brusque and unfriendly. I felt like he was chomping at the bit to leave the room. Not easy to talk to.

I saw Dr. Phil Buffington maybe in November or December. He DID palpate my penis, and did find plaques. Didn't mention an ultrasound. I complained of lack of sensitivity, and he said that that would likely go away, as it is likely caused by nerve damage which will heal. I cam skeptical of this though. I think that the lack of sensitivity is caused by the plaques themselves. He said that the bend would probably self correct partially but not completely. Dr. Bey was much more understanding, likable, and easy to talk to.

I saw Dr. Kevin Campbell sometime in early January. He DID palpate my penis (roughly) but claimed not to find anything. He DID offer a doppler ultrasound, which I scheduled. I ended up cancelling the ultrasound when I discovered that he would inject me with BIMIX in order to induce erection. I discovered on this forum that BIMIX can sometimes CAUSE PEYRONIE'S (why would they use this!?) He recommended L-Arginine. I mentioned Pentox and he said that he used to prescribe that, but that it wasn't very effective and so he's stopped prescribing it. He mentioned plication, which I said I wasn't interested in. He did prescribe me generic viagra for Erectile Dysfunction. But it's the kind you use before having sex, not for the kind of daily use that the forum recommends for PAV. Anyway, I had come in with a list of supplements and treatments that I gathered from this forum, and he pretty much shot down everything I mentioned except for L-arginine. Campbell was also lacking in bedside manner, but not as bad as Bey, and more helpful.

So! I still haven't found a urologist to prescribe pentox or daily cialis, or to schedule a doppler ultrasound without BIMIX.

Any doc recommendations in Cincinnati (or hell, anywhere in Ohio) are welcome. (Also, I'm moving to Indiana next year, so if anybody knows a good doc around there)

So, that's my sitch. Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

The ultrasound to diagnose Peyronies can be done flaccid.  It's done erect to diagnose Erectile Dysfunction issues which you seem to have.  Guys who have gotten Peyronies from injections do them regularly for sex.  One time is ok, just be sure to compress for 5-9 minutes afterwards to stop all internal bleeding at the injection site.  Taking 50 mg nightly if viagra does help w Peyronies, same as low dose nightly cialis.  Dr Campbell seems like your best option as he's offered an ultrasound for both Peyronies and ED.  Not everyone believes pentox is necessary.  Be sure to read the survival guide.  Low dose viagra and traction would be a great start.  Be sure to take measurements per the survival guide
