I can't get erections other than morning woods

Hello everyone, I am a 25 year old guy who suffered a penile fracture 8 months ago. I had to go with nonsurgical treatment because it diagnosed very late.

I developed a 25-30 degree curve after the fracture. I still have flaccid pain but no pain during erections. I wake up with morning woods and they don't go away easily. 20-25 minutes of morning erections. I can't say they are very hard though, they are probably hard enough for penetration and painless.

When I try to masturbate, my heart pumps like crazy, I can feel the anxiety taking over my body. I get zero erection/expanding. Nothing at all. In the pat 8 months it happened ocasionaly, but for the last 2 weeks I get zero erections. Only morning woods. I started ejeculating with a completely flacid penis.

Does that mean I have severe ED? I dont get my pre-fracture erections and I can understand that. Maybe I dont have fiborous scar tissue yet, but there is some serious damage. But still,I could get very very hard erections after the fracture.  

Btw, let me add I am having some anal problems at the present time. I have an anal fistula which cause pain and inflamation near my anus. Can this be one of the reasons I can't get erect? I believe it has some impact.

Should I start cialis, I heard it could help you overcome the pyshcological side of the issue. I think anxiety is the main agent here, but I cant be sure. Because I can get a little bit hard sometimes but lose it immediately. Especially when I start focusing on the erection, rather than the stimulant images or fantasies in my mind (at this point getting an erection is my fantasy anyways)

Hey man,

this heart pumping / panic attack thintg is what I experienced, too.

For me, that was 100% psychological.

Get a PDE5 from the doc (Viagra/Sildenafil for the beginning, later low-dose cialis for peyronie treatment) to overcome your psychological barrier.

To get an erection during the day several things have to work together. One of it is your mind arousal. It then releases hormones in a chain reaction that relax the penis smooth muscles(blood then can fill it and harden the tunica). If you are tense stressed etc. it will interfere with that process. Your body basically thinks you are in danger on the run or whatever and having an erection doesn't make sense to it.

Morning wood is your body doing it without you consciously getting aroused/interfering. You can take PDE5 as said above which basically forces the erection no matter what.

Obviously any other issues down there or any other health issues can potentially interfere too. I would focus on the fistula right now 1st place before stressing yourself for erections.
Your penile fracture, I would be interested in what state it is, how it happened and what you did to help it with doctors etc. Also did you test your blood, any underlying,maybe chronic, health issues?

As others said, adrenalin from stress attaches to the receptor in the penis and kills an erection because your body needs the blood elsewhere.  Calm down.  Reduce masturbation and avoid masturbating with a flaccid penis.  that is tough on the tissue and induces trauma.  Now is the time to handle your penis with kid gloves, not be pounding away on a flaccid penis.  This is the only one you get so treat is gentle.
