EveningAnxiety

I have the same story as many others here seem to have. I'm 28. I had to struggle to get my doctor to acknowledge the problems I was experiencing before she finally sent me to a urologist. The urologist just looked at my penis for 2 minutes, said I have a small plaque beneath the left glans, and sent me on my way without treatment. It's gotten a bit worse since, and it's a struggle to get a hold of him, so I have to find other ways to treat it. I've bought supplements recommended in one of the intro posts to help starting self treatment, and they seem to help a lot, although right now I'm dealing with returning pain, possibly from having too much rough sex and masturbation in a single day.

I've asked the urologist to look into pentox, because he only knew of Xiaflex and told me it's been outlawed in Europe(I'm from Denmark). No contact over Christmas and New Years so hoping for an answer this coming week.

I have a number of questions, especially about my denting. My penis is pretty straight when fully erect, but I seem to have a lot of pain in the left side, where the plaque apparently is.
I'm wondering if this is hourglassing or just something I've become aware of after the pain started. I don't have any pictures of my penis from before the pain started, so that I could see the difference.
My penis seems to dent a little right above each other. It almost looks like this under my left glans:

Apologies for the primitive drawing.

- Which treatments are good for treating hourglassing and regaining any loss of girth? EVD and traction both seem good, but as far as I understand, traction gains will go away, if I don't do it every single day. Is it the same for EVD?
- How can I get in touch with a urologist outside of Denmark that can help me if necessary? Do I need to see a urologist?
- What does hourglassing look like? I haven't been able to find any definitive examples. It would help me better understand my situation. As weird as it sounds, I would like to see pictures if possible.

Thanks in advice for reading and any help.

Another victim of socialist EU medicine, hi  :-\.

Very good. Oral supplements will help mitigate the problems but rarely solve the problem. Keep taking them. Think about taking your doses distributed through the day so you always have some off it in your blood.(half life of some supps is just some hours and if you don't penis circulation during that they will be "wasted")

You can't have that. 1 mistake here can create problems that take a lot of time to solve. Don't get anxious but be aware of what you do to your penis. You wouldn't run full force with a hurt foot either.. You still can have sex but be aware of angles, bending etc.

Did I already mention *X*X*X* the EU and socialist medicine? :D
You should be able to get Pentox. If this one doesn't give it to you might need to ask/beg another doc or game them by making something up that Pentox is prescribed for :/

How did these plaques came about? More details about timing and events, injuries etc. What is your overall health?

It's basically intendations and sometimes twisting and is a distinction to the often observed severe bending peyronies. Don't get to hung up on the terms. The basic problem is faulty tissue which interferes with the natural tissue and erection. It will look different for everyone depending on where the plaques sits. (penis diagrams can help with making sense of the location and the impact on the tissue, veins, arteries, smooth muscles, tunica)

In most cases it takes a lot of time to stretch the plaques and the tissue around them to mitigate the impact of the plaques. You have to do it consistently and in the right intensity, - no pain and no impact that worsens inflamation or creates new injuries. But also enough to have an effect. Start with low intensity and time and go from there. Lot's of people had success with both. There is rarely a single method or action that solves peyronies but "attacking" it from several angles.
I personally am at 99% functionality right now after I had intendations/hourglass. Still not rid of all plaques though. (As part of my treatment I used transdermals as described in my signature)

Regarding Urologist, you can call in your area and what they do vs. peyronies and hope there's one who knows what to do(probably not). There are a lot of great docs in the great country of America I saw mentioned on the forum,..maybe you can fly over and pay cash to get a good treatment. Ofc a full round of Xiaflex for example will be expensive and you need time for it.

Your situation sounds almost identical to mine.  I have an appt with a specialist in a week and I'll post my story and first results from that then.  Hang in there, I been dealing with the pain and the issues for about 7 weeks now, and thank God for this forum and the great people on here.
