Hi all,

Back on here after a bit of a break. Been on PAV for about 5 months since my initial injury back in June. Haven't had any worsening since then, but I'm getting a second ultrasound done next week (first one back in July showed no plaque). I'm hopeful to put this behind me as my doctor (a Peyronies Disease specialist in the Northeast) has told me over and over the past few months that it's not Peyronies. If the ultrasound comes back clean 7 months after initial injury and the curve is still <10 degrees, am I out of the woods with this? Does anyone have experience with either a false flag or mild Peyronies that stabilized quickly?

(You can look through my post history for my story, pics, etc)

5 months and no worsening, it's looking good you're in the stable phase if you have it at all.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

Just wanted to add that I still have intermittent pain and bending after sex. Have maintained a pretty active and normal sex life since day 1. Tried manual traction and that seemed to aggravate the pain for a day or two after. I also have heavy pelvic floor problems (I do see a pelvic PT for it). I'll update after the ultrasound. Well wishes to everyone who's dropped supplement ideas, tips, etc throughout this nightmare of a (half) year.

That's not good and a sign that you're not out of it. You should adjust a bit to avoid that happening. One bad position for a second can turn into an odyssey. You might not notice it but many positions during intercourse bend the penis a lot. Think a bit about angles. I guess there a times were it's less bad after intercourse? Replicate that.

Stop the traction or do it with much less intensity. Very light(!) VED might be better. GL

I've actually tried to find a correlation between positions and bending/pain but haven't been able to come to a conclusion. I'll mention VED to my uro, but if the ultrasound comes back clean after 7ish months is it possible that plaque could still form? I'm at a loss. I'd fully abstain but I have a great girlfriend and would hate to throw a wrench into that dynamic.

As long as it isn't creating a lot of worsening you shouldn't abstain.
Would a prolonged erection lead to the same pain or is it only with intercourse?
If it's only w intercourse you will figure it out. It's basically geometry and leverage lol.
For example missionary, you moving your hips too far "towards her chest" will bend your penis at her clitoris/pubic bone. Same if you penetrate and lean back towards your heels. Some adjusting with the ANGLESĀ° there could make a difference.

There's no exact timeframe with the plaques. No need to panic but be aware of worsening which means you should be smart about resting your penis. Inflammation inside the penis is always tricky.

OK I read your other posts. You speak about prostatitis and anxiety. This points for me to Pelvic floor problems.(anxiety leads to chronic tension in the PF which then puts pressure/strain on the prostata)
Did you check into that?
If you have PF imbalances it can also lead to sensation in your penis(nerves pressured) and intercourse will aggravate the PF(it's like doing sports with tight/strained arms and legs)

Feels like some stretching exercises, physiotherapy, gymnasitcs maybe yoga or something like that would benefit you. Is your breathing good and full? If not that can be fixed too,.

Appreciate you reading the prior posts. I do see a pelvic floor PT and it's a slow process but I can feel some improvement. My urologist seems to think that the pain is a result of pelvic floor problems and not Peyronies Disease. Granted, I did smoke for years and I've always been anxious as all hell. Perhaps working on meditation, stretching, scaling back heavy lifting into lighter exercise could help. The minimal erect bend I have right now doesn't bother me at all (intercourse or not).

Yes,.. the last thing you want to do is heavy lifting with a tight pelvic floor. Can make things worse/tighter.
Many lifters, BB's have their joints messed, hips, spine etc. which all can end up downstream "in" your PF->penis.
Chiropractors can identify such and correct it(but inform yourself about risks)
Swimming is good. Infrared sauna is good. Massage.. Stuff like yoga and tai chi etc. is great cause it is physical, breathing and mental in one.
