How do you keep a sense of optimism with no evidence?

Just tying together some patterns here across many, many threads. And sorry in advance for what might read like pessimism.

Hawk said there is a solution for every man here. Skunkworks said it just takes perseverance over time. Christopher1 says if you fast for long periods of time, etc.

But what about me?

All I read about here is the doom of "calcification." And how you don't want to end up with a calcified plaque, like it is the end of the world.

Well, mine is almost certainly calcified. So what about me?

It is my opinion that all the people who "heal" do not have the genetic form of peyronie's. They were young and had a sexual injury and soft plaque.

I have tried restorex, penimaster, VED, various supplements, heat, and now xiaflex.

It hasn't helped.

So, why would I believe there is help? If there is not help, then how is there help? I don't get it.

Why believe anything positive I read here if it is not demonstrable?

People constantly talk about hope and light and effective treatment, but I have experienced the opposite. How do you believe untrue things?

If someone told me, "you are doomed," well, I believe that because so far, that is accurate.

Did not mean to make this a self pity post. Really asking "how do you keep any sense of optimism if what you are doing does not yield results especially when it appears that other people get results?"

Yes I am Tony. I am going for the 3rd round on 1/6. And I have been doing restorex 2X daily for 30 min. And it has made the hourglassing worse. It also feels thinner. I haven't done any measurements lately. Will do so before the next xiaflex round.

I also fall in the category of people that don't respond well to current treatments and we are not the only ones. It's hard to stay positive cause we'll basically have to wait for better treatments in the future.

I'm glad you're still giving treatment a shot...good luck!  Esp that you've added restorex to Xiaflex, did you see the study w improved outcomes of Xiaflex by adding traction, especially the restorex!

Yes, I read the study. Thanks. I can't "bury" the white lines on the restorex though. I don't know how anyone could. That would tear something. It already hurts as is. I can't get it past the second level on the counter bending either. I got it to 3 a few times. But it is like my dick is a different flexibility every day.
