Hey guys, I keep stumbling across people mentioning that their uro prescribed low dose Viagara as a means of treatment? My uro never discussed this with me as I don't have ED. Can anyone explain to me how this is supposed to help? Is it strictly for ED or is it for another purpose?

I use 100mg before sleeping. some doctors say these pills help to remodel scar tissue and maintain general penile health. with pills more blood can dilate the phallus easily which presumably promote oxygenation and recovery. all of this is true but for now it has been proven under lab animals. no strong evidence till now that it can heal or alleviate any abnormality for humans

There are studies that suggest PDE's like viagra and cialis can contribute to halting fibrosis (scar tissue formation) in the penis. This could prevent the formation of further plaques and conceivably help recovery of existing plaques.
