I can't get the tension high enough to bury the lines. It either pinches skin near my glans too much or else just plain hurts the shaft if tension cranked that high. Any suggestions? It's not supposed to hurt, so I don't understand restorex concept of higher tension. Higher tension is painful.

Just to clarify too, I used to be able to use this device with no problem. But now, the skn directly under the glans, no matter how I clamp it, gets pulled. Can't figure it out. Used to be able to bend my dick 90 degrees in this thing with no prob. Now it's like it is going to tear my skin off.

Are you wrapping with gauze and/or tape? Clamping one or two ckicks?

Yes, wrapping with gauze and coflex. Two clicks, sometimes 3. Glans slips out easily.

That's not the problem I am asking about though. The tension involved in burying the white lines is too high. It would cause a lot of pain.

Tape up like normal and then before you clamp in,  where the skin usually pinches grab a thicker tissue like paper towel thickness fold it over so it creates a good cushion and put it over the part that gets pinched outside the tape then clamp down. Extend like normal and try that. It relieved all my pinching and I have no pain issues since.
