My plication surgery went very well and the healing process was not an issue.  One note my doctor did tell me about his personal technique though; he uses a couple extra plication "dots" in parallel with the normal "dots" at the base of the shaft.  (my procedure used a raphe incision vice degloving)  He said this will help stabilize the erections...and he was correct!  A few weeks after surgery and once the diazepam was done the morning erections returned - woohoo!  At first they were a little painful, but not bad, and there seemed to be a little residual swelling that provided additional girth - but that wore off as the healing continued.  Now when I have a ver firm, full erection the penis does not lay on my abdomen and point at my navel...it is very straight and POINTS UP quite a bit!  When in this state I can feel the rows of plication dots along each side of the urethral bump, and at the base I can feel 2 or 3 extra dots in parallel to the main line of dots.  It seems that this extra tension in the surface of the cavernosum (below the Buck's fascia and Dartos fascia) on each side provided lateral stabilization and some leverage at the base to help elevate the penile shaft to a much more vertical orientation.  Nice!  Pix will be posted when able.
