Permanent discoloration

Hey guys.  Just received second cycle of xia.  Noticed however, before the injection, my penis is still darker in color than it was before.  6 weeks passed without the darkness going away, although it did lighten up a bit.

Anyone else notice this side effect?  Did it eventually fade away?  What is this discoloration?  Let's see if we can find out more about this.  Hey please post your experiences.

Also, ya did you keep penis upright after injections?  Erections better, worse or same?

peypey21--- the discoloration is a side effect from Xiaflex.  While it will get closer to original color over time it will be a bit darker than it was originally.  I had 4 cycles (8 shots) several years ago and my penis remains a bit darker.  It doesn't really bother me but wanted to share my experience so you knew you weren't the only one that had this happen to them.

Very interesting regarding the coloring changing for some.  I've heard no recommendations for positioning your penis after injections-just be sure to start traction w/in 2 weeks after second injection.

Dr. Eid told me to work against gravity. The blood wants to pool downward. So on the days you have shots, stay off your feet. Lay down.

He doesn't do any wrapping. But a lit of people reccomend wrapping for 6-8 hours. Some even do for the 3 days in between shots.

Eid doesn't because he feels it cuts off circulation.

Also, do a search here for Lyon legacy magnet. I also used this.

Probably b.s. but a magnet in my thinking if you wrap it toward the base of the underside of your dick draws iron in the blood downward, keeping the staining off your shaft. There is iron in blood and that is what causes the discoloring and magnets love iron. So....

I just finished my first shot of my fourth round and I have discoloration (I think it happened around the first and second rounds).  I did some research and have seen information that says this can happen.

The discoloration, if there for a long time, is most probably iron(blood) deposits in the skin. It's similar to a tattoo trapped in the skin layers. Can take a long time to naturally fade(months, years..)  
I hope admins. are not getting fed up with me recommending transdermal applications but DMSO(inform yourself) + Ascorbic acid can fade these discolorations as ascorbic acid is "absorbing" the iron while the DMSO opens up the skin layers. (I don't know if Xiaflex and DMSO or Ascorbic acid interact with each other if done within a short timeframe)
