Cannot get erection while standing

I have had this issue for sometime. I once had a venous thrombosis after attempting sex without erection.

I did a doppler while laying and the report suggests no venous leak. But the problem is I can get erection while laying down normally, does that not make the doppler useless? Since it was done while laying down?

What is a better approach to diagnose my leak please?

Also will I stop getting erection while laying down? I mean will this get worst?

Thanks

Erections can clearly be affected by body position.  I assume you can have normal satisfying sex unless you are standing.  Is that correct?

This sounds like a pelvic floor problem.

I would like to see some convincing evidence by respected medical center, university, or some other well-known respected source that indicated ED can result from pelvic floor" issues".  I am very skeptical of such vague explanations.

I am afraid I did not base that on anything scientific. I just read this guy's post on reddit. I should have noted it was not based on anything scientific when I posted. Apologies.

I posted before I researched fully. Google says this is like a venous leak.

Well two colur dopplers say No leak.

I actually think your first assertion abt a pelvic issue is correct. I have a tight pelvic floor with muscle spasm especially when standing. They are more relaxed when lying down or sitting. I think it is evident that they cause the ED I have

I used to have this issue, but fixed it by masturbating only once a week or less, and eliminating porn.
Never expect yourself to have an erection. This will just not work.. You need to be inspired and aroused. During sex my erections are very hard even when standing now, but keep in mind that no man has a 100% erection without stimulation indefinitely. It always goes down and that is normal.
