Alprostodil...is it ok if not kept in fridge

I had a prescription for some Vitaros/Alprostodil, and didn't realise it was to be kept in the fridge.

I guess it's now no good, but just thought I would check before I bin it, as it's quite expensive.

I would call and ask a pharmacist.  There is some chance it might be fine or that it might be OK but weaker.
